Many thanks, it works for me, I only needed the Google play services file as the old was needed to be upgraded. Now v21.24.57 of google play services working fine. but wonder how we will get the next version?

Thanks, everything is working fine on a P40 lite with EMUI 12, even the playstore, and push notifications. Even the playstore works, just have to disable internet for playstore, offline configuring playstore to disable auto app updates, enable wifi/date for playstore, reboot the phone, then google play service won't update, and playstore is working. ^^

Wow, this worked great! Only issue was the location of the phone not working(also tried gspace and other location apps) so I tried installing the latest GSF version 10 over the GSF FIX with WIFI and data off. Now I have everything working, with push notifications. Now I am just curious if I should update to the latest version of google play services, I am scared that it will cause the error to come back.

Thanks for the fix! Play protect got fixed, and notifications are also working :) However Google Maps is not working. Actually it seems all apps that uses location/GPS is not working (Weather apps, Pokemon Go, Maps etc.) Is there any fix to this currently? I tried GSpace Google maps which works most of the time, but doesn't fix the general GPS/Location issue

For me it's working in that way. Install GSpace use maps inside it and enable location accuracy then should work outside GSpace.

Mine worked but then 12 hours later I started getting the "This isnt play protected certified" again. I turned of data usage in the google play store so thought that would stop it from erroring again? I didnt restart the phone, used the GSF fix provided etc. Any ideas? Thanks

but you are uninstalling GFS after uninstalling Google account menager... is that not giving error? you mentioned at the begining that we need to have google account menager before uninstalling google services and gfs?

Try go to settings > Apps > tap the upper right 3 Dots > Special Access > Unrestricted Data Access > switch the toggle of the apps that you want. I hope this method can help for having a notification.

It's not working for some devices try to enable it from maps settings inside.

Notìications pushed but not for background running apps. Phone screen off and push notificatons stop. Tested on messenger, whatsapp. Turn screen off, nothing. When screen on, it works normally.

Hello my friend I read lot of your videos to find a solution to my problem. I have one Huawei P20 pro with EMUI 12. I am trying lot of combinations 4 days now, with lot of hours without any positive result. My problem is that I haven't numerical working badge on some applications like "Gmail, Google calendar, Skype, and some apps from my bank" Please let me know if I try this solution you describe here, I can get this notifications badge witch is so useful. On some defaults apps I have these numerical budges. Also If I chose notifications banners all are working 100% but these does not help me because I must see these only in the receiving time witch is few seconds. Thanks and keep your good work.

Very nice tutorial. Helped me a lot thank you. But one thing is not working. After installing the System Hacks GFS Fix, Improve Location Accuracy is not checked anymore and cannot be rechecked. This also destroys my gps accurany for many apps. Is there a fix for that?

i did these steps but instead of using the gmf fix i used the original one and froze it with icebox like you showed once in a notification fix tutorial. everything seems good so fine. restarted my phone and no notifications popped. will i get the notifications if i unfreeze gmf back?

You can. Just put play store and play services to blacklist in aurora and it will never update.

I did every steps but ignore the last step (install GSF FIX apk)- it cause push notifcation and Google locations work. BUT whenever restart the phone it will cuase "google play protect not certified" message pop up and Goolgle apps won't work. It will need to repeat Fix Errors & Receive Push Notifications steps again but ignore the last step.

It's an old version before 1 year but it's always matter if trying keep trying and can try to reorder installation of the apps.

You can try with different version of Play services but keep in mind it will get harder.

Worked on Mate 40 Pro with Harmony OS, when you long press on location in control center, google location accuracy option is not available in harmony OS. if someone can fix that will be really great :). gpay in India works. Uber and google news doesn't work. Thank you.

update: downgraded to emui11. If you face any location issue, open google maps and after that open the app which is complaining about location. Just a workaround. Mate 40 pro china version.

In p 40 lite localization don't work and hms localization also is broken. Remeber about this. BTW noficications is working propertly for me :)

To fix localization, download Gspace, download maps inside it and give permissions to access location.

When you remove gsf and GPS and install my version of GPS it will be OK. Also disabling background data for play store is important.

That's a real problem and you can't fix it bu be sure you gave all the permissions to Gspace.

I accidentally updated Google play services, and now I've been sitting for hours trying to delete play services so I could install the old version again but no matter what I have tried I just can't disable or uninstall it. When I push uninstall it keeps referring to some screen lock service and rules of passwords or something, and when I go to that screen lock service I can't disable it either. And I can't find anything about that rules of password to change anywhere so I can be able to disable and delete play services. Before I messed up and updated it, things were working almost perfect. Please help get me back on track

@@SystemHacks Thanks for replying, but i think im completely lost now. It wont really let me install much. Keep saying theres a newer version of the files trying to install. i Think i must have deleted the google account in all my attempts to delete that google play services, so its a mess now so doubt ill be able to come back to where i was. But much appriciating your work.

I did this successfully however location services and Viber backup and restore was gone. How to fix this?

Location is not easy to fix. Try install Gspace download maps there enable location services and after that try on main maps application.

Probably it will break them but I have workaround. Install Gspace and download maps from there and enable location after that it will work on mine app 👍

@@SystemHacks I did that, when I enter google location accuracy from maps and try to turn it on then it force closes.. My location works only in gmaps, but location on browser or some other apps don't
