Hey Devin i've found that you should mount the map sensor remotely off the manifold or motor. It usually dies out from heat and vibrations. This has worked for me.

Garage or shop because his garage is empty other than the cars and then his shop really doesn’t have that much in it either so it’s probably pretty easy to keep organized. Less clutter in the shop means less clutter in your mind.

Devin curious if you would consider ordering up a set of Volk wheels with a custom ordered offset, specific to the rear and set specific offset for the fronts to have the perfect fitment with no spacers needed? I've never seen this done before as most people run a specific offset for rotating tires, but looking to get that exact perfect fitment for the Evo would be ideal for that OEM+ look and avoid cracking that paint.

Good stuff! Well done! Also heck yeah, getting some bike riding in. I would still keep the R6 unless you really feel like selling it and maybe regret it on a later date. Since they're not being made anymore and 20k is nothing for a bike. It'll last way longer anyway! Curious if you actually go with a V4 bike. And if so will it be an Aprilia or Ducati. I mean they sound awesome, for sure! I'd say also no hood dump on the Evo and the OEM JDM Evo tails will come in due time, thought they were way more cheap then 1k as well.

Did you datalog the TPS? My GVR4 had a similar issue like that when hot and it TPS would go to zero when it would stutter like that. One more thing, TN now has blue license plate so that 2 year old plate sticks out. Is it legal in WA to drive with someone else's plate? Most states, that is a felony so be careful.

Another possibility which I ran into on stock ecu is injectors are scaled wrong. It would idle great but once warm and go for a drive it would pitch a fit and stall out.

how much rubbing is happening in the rear? depending how much you could change to a smaller tire like from 265 to 255 or with a little camber in the alignment (not too much) would help too

Yes! No hood dump, please! That will ruin the look of the Evo. Depo lights are probably the best aftermarket factory style lights you can buy. I have bought many of them for retrofit projects.

You need to check out JackbuildsIt’s Evo he built for Sema, he did a mod on his Evo that folds the metal enough to sneak in wider tires. Maybe you should try that? Blend the paint after? That way it looks factory but is what you’re shooting first size wise.

I chased my tail on a turbo Miata build for a full month before realizing the ID injector pigtails were trash. I never run pigtail adapters on anything now.

In my experience as a tech you seem to have a problem with a crank sensor . Cause usually a car will run with a bad cam sensor but not with a crank sensor.
