Well said, these are the TOP BRANDS, and there are another ten more brands on top of that. AMERICA builds quality powerboats. Its all about personal preference and what you want your boat to be. They are well built and perform well....just need to find the one that fits you the best!

Bostrovas yes indeed, this is very true. Our sport has gone through a transition because owners want to have more people come with them on the poker runs and they want more creature comforts like a bathroom, better cooler space, and lots of room to move around. The other reason...these Mercury Racing outboards are so reliable, the guys just love that no repairs...but they dont make ANY noise! But I have GOOD NEWS! We are going to pull out some of the older video content and put some FLASHBACK videos on the channel soon!! With all performance boats when there were NO center consoles..LOL

Cuda Jr... well the answer to that is.. we cant hear them! Its a fact that with the new advanced Mercury Racing engines they have added tuned exhaust to bring down emissions and noise pollution...so the we cannot even hear the engines on many of the boats. When an old-school boat gives some good engine noise, I stop the narration and bring down the music tracks...so we can crank the engine audio. if you see the new show LOUD & PROUD ..came out last week, you will hear a few engines that sound great. In the near future, after we finish the KEY WEST shows...We will dig in the archives and pull some cool old-school boats with monster engines, and make some cool vids! Sorry I see you made this comment long time ago, but I just saw it first time. No seatbelts in powerboats...because if the boat flips over the crew may drown. The boats that go superfast and have racing canopies, those guys usually have seat harnesses...but they also have oxygen masks to breath while they are upside down, and the boat is filling up with water. Hope that helps
