the Rodgers one was very misleading, he is DEFINITELY known for catching teams offside and getting the free play.

The third one Alex did the wrong hand motion. The first needs to be turned in, not out. What he did was illegal hands to the face, not holding.

The "illegal use of hands" signal (#12 in the rule book) is given with the hand open and facing forward. The description of the holding signal (#11) doesn't mention which way the hand should face, it just specify "fist clenched".

Two of these answers were incomplete at best. The same signal is used to indicate a made field goal or extra point as a touchdown. And the signal with both hands on top of your head is actually for illegal substitution. Too many men on the field is just one form that violation can take.
