Easter Cakes Recipe:
- 1 kg of flour
- 500 ml of milk
- 60 g of ordinary yeast or 15-20 g of dry yeast (read on the package)
- 7-8 yolks (depending on size)
- 80 g sour cream (fat content 20-25%)
- 100 g butter (preferably 82% fat)
- 50 ml odorless vegetable oil
- 250 g sugar
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 200-250 g of dried fruit
- 10-20 g of vanilla sugar
- zest of 1 lemon
Bake for 30-40 minutes (depending on size) I have small baked for 30 minutes, large 40. The temperature is 170-160 degrees.
The icing recipe for Easter cakes on squirrels (for this norm of the test):
- 2 egg whites
- 350 g of powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
