I know exactly how this feels. My foster mother was horrible to me. She left me home alone for whole days and half days when I was three. She didn't leave any food for me except half a sandwich. She verbally abused me and smacked me a lot. She cared about her own daughters more than me. When I got hurt, she would tell me I was useless, clumsy and stupid and she would act as if it was the biggest inconvenience. She hated me and she sat me in the corner by the front door every night even if I did nothing wrong. I ate last as well. My biological mother gave me up at 2 and a half and she took drugs and had alcohol and I was severely malnourished. Luckily I am now in a good family who loves me. I empathise and feel for those children who have to live with these types of foster parents. My heart goes out to you. No one should have to go through that and worse.
