@@guilhermeluispessoa5288 Depends on how you use the word "boring." It still looks cool, and stunning to drive so I wouldn't say it's boring like Sochi. In terms of overtake opportunities though? Yeah probably not the best.

There won't be anything intense this Sunday. With a +15km/h top speed advantage over Red Bull, DRS not included, Hamilton will cruise to P1.

My personal opinion from driving this track in F1 2021 is that it's a lot of fun to drive, great for hotlaps. DRS into the last corner and then again on the start/finish straight also helps a bit with overtaking into T1 but it definitely feels like a bit of a train throughout a lot of the lap

The same features that make overtaking hard in wing-dependent cars are what make it exciting to do hotlaps.

since when was F1 about safety cars and not the fastest drivers in the quickest cars.....

High Speed circuits are exactly how you create overtaking chances, people saying otherwise don't know what they're talking about. It's medium speed corners that are the worst. The faster the cars are, the closer they'll stick together, DRS creates overtakes from there. That's why Abu Dhabi and Australia are both getting circuit reworks to take out corners and make them faster. The reason cars spread out is because they have such variable cornering and acceleration speeds. Top speeds vary too but slipstream largely still reigns as king, and DRS eliminates that advantage. Circuits with tight racing would ideally have 2 components and 2 components only: High Speed sweeping sections that are just flat out corner after flat out corner, and long straights into hairpins/chicanes. You can verify this by playing any racing sim, getting in slower cars, and racing around a track where you can basically push them flat out except for 1 or 2 hard braking corners. You'll notice that even after a few laps, everyone is still within a couple seconds of each other and everyone still has a chance at winning. Do the same track in an Indycar/F1 Car/similarly high speed car. Suddenly, everyone is very spread out after a few laps and any mistakes basically remove you from contention. Speed changes create variability, which creates less racing. Also, high speed sections followed by crazy breaking zones create crashes, and that's atleast 50% the reason anyone watches motorsport.

I think it just means Bottas and Perez will have their races sacrificed
