The title is wrong, they where captured, during the June offensives, not during the Ukrainian counter-offensive

Such a poor choice of title

These are brave men and should be treated with honour and all should be done that is humanly possible to return them to their families. One side in this conflict, counts every single soldier and values them immensely. The other side, doesn't even tally its dead, its ramping up the numbers to send more and more, with even less training and experience into the center of the most furious fighting... and when those men disappear, they will not even be counted or their loved ones paid for their sacrifice. It's obvious to all which is the honourable side in this war, and which side cares little for increasing the butchers bill, not caring about civilians, not caring about the future of their own men. All because the ego of one man can't handle that he was wrong, not once, not twice, but multiple times, and rather then learning from the mistake and hearing the warnings of what its going to cost, this man doubles down like a gambler.... the only problem is that he is gambling with the lives of his own people.... What is worse, is that he is even willing to threaten with the nuclear option which means he has no regard for anyone on this planet, his ego is more precious the planet earth. This is a man that needs to be stopped and checked from power. AT ALL COSTS. Removing Putin will not only benefit the world, but it will also benefit Russia.. the outlook for that country will change over night when he is no more. Just sad that one man can be so reckless with the lives of others!

Grossly misleading title..Lyman is another battle later than Severodonetsk Lysychansk.. Ukraine wins Lyman while lost at Severodonetsk, where the captives caught in this narrative here in this clip..

This is the big difference:the Ukrainian commander is so concerned of his soldiers while the Russians , based on the interviews of Russian POWs and intercepted phone calls, their commanders were indifferent and some even abandoned them.

Wrong title: the current prisoners did not fought to retake Lyman, they were captured some time ago when the Russians were on the offensive. Only their commander fought for Lyman but he's not a prisoner.

Hopefully a prisoner exchange will happen especially after Ukraine has captured so many soldiers from that area now🇺🇦💙💛💙
