But friday the 13th remake is fun and well made and literaly three friday 13th movies in one and it got a perfect jason. Way better than the mediocre original. The remake is in my top 3 jason movies. Last vintage one,part 4.After that they lost validity,last one with that early 80's legitimacy in the franchise.

Personally I also love the 2 movies after this movie, A New Beginning may not have Jason, but it does have great characters, Jason Lives also has great characters but also has great comedy, amazing performances, introduced Thom Matthews who is now known as THE Tommy Jarvis, and amazing kills, with a superb soundtrack by Harry Manfredini and even Alice Cooper, and introduced Zombie Jason which would be in almost every single movie after
