We finally got some measurable rain! Thank you, Lord! Now I am just trying to find places to put the plants I raised in winter sowing milk jugs for my daughter. She has decided not to garden this season, so I either plant them or toss them. I am having to doctor some sick transplants and figure out where to put corn babies. I had no intention of trying to grow corn again as either the ants, hail or high winds always take mine down. I told her to toss one milk jug of them, and I planted the other one. I will have to thin them in a couple more weeks, keeping only the larger, stronger ones.
I am also sharing what I have found out about my solar generator in terms of maintaining the battery portion when charging discharging. It was an expensive investment, so I want to be sure to take care of it. I worry less about hurricanes taking out my power for a week at a time with a backup plan for my little chest freezer. It was a Black Friday gift towards my inner peace. One less thing to worry about in these troubled times.
