Wow thats pretty amazing . I am glad Pico apoligized I was a little turned off by the passion post fight but he put it in context and I get it . I love Bellator and the announcers and organizers are top notch . Watch out for Pico . ❤️

Wicked finish, I like how Pico was looking at the hips to allow his opponent to telegraph the takedown attempt, which then prompted him to counter with the knee, but when Pico dips his head it wasn't for the takedown but that vicious overhand right that landed clean

@@nolangoldenberg8843 his boxing is good but not out of this world. He has solid technique on his hooks which is such a rarity in MMA that it makes him seem that much better at boxing than the rest. By MMA standards he has crisp boxing in fairness to him.

@@greedygreed6599 agreed, but to be fair - not Freeman, so only 2 of his 3 L's is nothing to criticize - Borics & Corrales are tough fights, and he had them in some trouble before his defeat. & they finally stepping up Gallaher and Fortune in their next fights; sink or swim time, the kid gloves is off

@@greedygreed6599 but the golden gloves, Freddy Roach training/cornering, and esteemed wrestling background had set Pico the marquee spotlight straight away, & that demands a higher caliber opponent that anyone else would face in a local opponent. & where's Freeman been since (?) & even before that, he was no former contender/gatekeeper. He was fairly set & expected to lose to Pico, nonetheless.

I'm still mad Aaron Pico didn't finish out his Wrestling career... The man was TOP tier. He almost won the US team trials in 2016 as a 19 year old and has faced off against the ABSOLUTE best in the world in Yazdani and only lost by a hair. He could have gone down as the best wrestler to ever live but his hard head wanted to fight immediately. I think having an Olympic Gold is better than any MMA Gold even if it doesn't pay as much.

Another viral finish from Pico, my God. But that post fight statement, admitting that he was broken as a fighter, probably as a man too. Seems like he not only got the right team and coach to maximize his skill set but mentors that can heal and strengthen his mind. His performance shows that the mental side of this game is just as important as the physical.

It’s hard when you’re in a sport so filled with fragile egos who gotta put on tough guy acts to motivate themselves. Pico shows us a better way, like Demetrius Johnson, Kevin Holland, Wonderboy, etc. pure athletes looking to get the job done and have fun fighting their hearts out.

There was a clash of heads at 3:36 (3:06 of Round#1) that caused the cut on De Jesus` left eye brow. Not sure if it was an accident...but that looked (to me) like an intentional head-butt by Pico. I slowed down the playback speed to see it more clearly.
