Really enjoyed Barbosa's footwork. He maintains a very sound, solid construct. Rarely caught out of position. The one thing I'd say is that he does sometimes fall into his shots with the right hand. So he was wide open for the counter left hook here and there.

yeah good point. very sound fundamentals and discipline with his form. not overly creative but very good with what he needs.. reminds me of Mikey Garcia during his prime. good fight this was

@@johndeighan2495 Barbosa rejected a title shot against Regis Prograis - leaving the way clear for Zorrilla to accept the title shot. So it's Prograis vs Zorrilla in a few months. Barbosa & Zorrilla both have textbook skills, but it's hard to judge their level until they step up against proven boxers - looks like we're going to find out how good Zorrilla is, while Barbosa prefers to leave the fans wondering....

zorilla is versatile but seems caught in between styles. once he decides his ring identity per fight he will get wins over the top guys also

Zorrilla tries to fight like Tito Trinidad, without Tito's power. The footwork & glove placements are almost identical. He over-thinks his offense to much. If he doesn't rectify that, I think he'll get out-worked as he steps up against better opponents.

very good fight. both clearly top 10. barboza is getting better and more confident all the time, best time to beat him is now as he is very solid fundamentally and seems to be focussed as well and that leads to accelerated development. zorrila is a tough fight for anyone and will pull off some upset wins against the top guys if he's underestimated.
