Agreed. He still has a similar style and technique. He has learned a lot more about the body work in my opinion and although he lost to a counter fighter he can also be beaten by a pressure fighter. It will be interesting to see him against Smith. I see him winning but a tough battle.

@Febreze Calling Canelo "canela" is wrong because in spanish we have gendered pronouns. Canela would apply to a girl, so by putting the "ELO" at the end, it becomes masculine, thus CANELO

You can see how much more experienced Canelo is now. Very patient and calculated and has seen every trick in the book. Fighting Mayweather made him a much better fighter.

This fight Canelo was missing a lot of his power punches, but you could tell he was going to get it. He was throwing that left a little excessive at first. That is such a clean punch, so much power

I'm not too far into the fight as yet but am impressed by Baldomir. Young Canelo is a hard fellow to keep up with. I could use a bit less of the "wisdom" from the commentators. Having spent time in the ring myself, I'd like to draw my own conclusions during the progress of the fight even if I do agree with them.
