I actually tried this, as my very first attempt at a serious painting, and can’t believe how good I did. I’ve been messing around with acrylic painting since last summer. Beautiful painting. A tip for people starting out to paint the moon. Start with a small circle and work your way out. It will turn out to be a perfect circle that way and you can add shading after. It’s very difficult to paint a perfect circle from the outside in. This artist makes it look easy but it’s not.

We did it at the end of my birthday party and it was magnificent. We had 6 slightly different versions of this painting which was really fun. We sometimes strayed away from the instructions to make it something of our own thing but everybody had a time of their life with this painting. Thank you for clear instructions

i watched this tutorial for my very first painting and it was super helpful! of course, as it was my first time, it wasnt perfect like the one in the video. i didnt have the exact colors and i had accidentally colored in the moon in places i wasn’t supposed to. but overall im super proud of it and im very happy i was able to come across this video to help me out. thank you!

I nailed it! I make a slight difference in my painting but it's so good haha. Good for relief my stress. I have difficulty when i paint the moon. But from afar, looks good lol, but just don't look at it too close haha. Thankyou for the video ❤️

For those of us in the US the canvas is a 10" X 10" , the first brush is 3/4" the fanbrush also 3/4" , the flatbrush. I'm going to adjust this to the 9X7" canvas I have.
