The new patch is here and the FV721 was the first thing I had to look at. This long awaited armored car has the same cannon that is featured on the Warrior IFV. It is also incredibly quick in forwards and reverse. This thing is a monster at 7.0 and I highly encourage you to play it if you are interested in it. This is a really fun vehicle!

16:38 So the reason the Fox can reverse so fast is because all of its forward gears are also available in reverse (and I believe you can technically/theoretically start in any gear although do not quote me on that). On the Ferret there are two massive hatches on the rear that the driver could look out of while reversing at high speed but when they slapped the new turret these ended up being lost.

I don't even have this thing yet, but its my favorite tank in the game, because it SOUNDS right. the Fox armored car had the LEGENDARY Jaguar XJ-6 Inline 6 that powered multiple generations of Jaguar sports cars, and in game it SOUNDs like it has that engine, and it make's me so happy.

IIRC, the reason for fast reverse gears is so that the scout car can get out of trouble as fast as it got into trouble without needing to waste time and present a target turning around.

When I first saw this vehicle yesterday with its slow autocannon and bouncy barrel I thought no way would be that good and I will admit, I was wrong. This vehicle looks like it is a lot of fun and packs a big punch in a little package. Great video, guys!!

Bummed they did not add the HESH changes that were in the dev server. Im a USSR and Sweden main and not a whole lot was added for either country. The Fox looks really fun, might finally convince me to work on British ground.

We just need the FV 107 scimitar foldered under fox at maybe 7.3 and the scimitar 2 at 7.7 - 8.3 (it has thermals and night vision and increased fire rate at 90 rounds/minute with slightly better mobility and armor) rank 5 needs a dedicated light tank in britian!

It's the 'been at peace too long' camo, or the 'Rubik cube camo', as I heard it back then. The right colours to match German modern streets, but the panels were about two feet across, and so did not match anything that German towns had in those colours, such as doors. The colours also tend to blur together at any range, defeating the camouflage's purpose. If the panels had been much larger horizontal panels with minimum vertical lines, and the deep black curved wheel wells had been covered with blankets of flexible camo ( as is now done with tanks ), it might have matched some of the well-known principles of camouflage. Parking them in car parks rather than on street corners would help, too.
