With All due respect to his father but Flores needs a new trainer. I give props to his dad for bringing him up all the way to the level he's at but his father didn't have an answer for his son. He didn't have the right intructions. His father was never a boxer and this is what happens when you reach a certain level. Most of these kids get by on talent and hard work and they think their dad are good coaches but when they get in there with an opponent that has experience the corner doesn't have the knowledge to help their fighter do something different. I see it in my gym all the time.

It's crazy how good cutmen really are, they keep this fighters wounds in sustainable shape, but once it stops after the fight, those same wounds just balloon in to something crazy. Seeing his face on his way out of the arena last night, after this interview, was crazy. All I could think was "Damn, that guy really was fucking him up." It didn't seem like it was that bad at first, but he really got the shit beat out of him. It honestly looked like he was jumped by at least two people. I wish him the best and hope he makes a speedy recovery.
