I would love to hear what other gadgets you think could be added to this list! :D All of these are definitely just personal opinion form playing over the years! :) Since this last update I think its more and more important to make videos like this seeing we have a choice to buy these or not! In my opinion, the worst gadgets have to be the ones involving a loss of health like Gus or Ash. They just seem a bit unnecessary considering the trade they give

Buzz’s second gadget isn’t bad at all. It’s great on cavern churn and a couple other maps

Rotten banana should in my opinion pause the rage meter for a set amount of time instead of giving rage so it allows you to keep your rage for longer when not attacking

I get why Lou’s first gadget is considered bad, but I love using it over the second gadget, being able to freeze and kill an assassin at close range

Meg's second gadget is such a cool idea, but the first one is just way too good

anyone remembers when crow's and emz's first gadgets had 2 uses?

I like Buzz's Xray shades. But if rework would come, I suggest it can be replaced by his megaphone. Activating his gadget will let Buzz use a megaphone instead of his whistle for 3 or 5 seconds, meaning it will increase his range (and could pass thru walls!)

New players: “I want more Gears, there’s not enough options” OGs: “back in my day we only had 1 Star Power”

Most of the pics are really great however I'd like to see some love for Buzzes X-ray Shades! They're actually really good in solo showdown on bushy maps like "Cavern Churn" and "Feast or Famine". Of course the other gadget is better 90% of the time but just saying, the other one can come in really handy in specific situations!

Buzz 2nd gd is not bad. That's straight up untrue, what you said lol. So many use cases, especially in showdown modes. Same with Jacky. Her 2nd gd is very good in: Knockout, Bounty and Duels (Bonus: Takedown). Even pros use it over the first most times. Just in the right modes and timing. They're not bad, just higher skill cap.

I think a cool buff to eve’s second gadget would be to make her egg hatch instantly, then they would go and heal you

Jacky’s rebuild can be useful in brawl ball overtime to rebuild your teams walls and have an advantage. Only problem is, it’s overtime… makes Jacky an easy target. Quite a double edged sword

In my opinion Buzz’s second gadget is actually great and not bad. It’s good for bushy maps and also when playing with randoms, you will be able to help them see the enemies.

If they want to make toolbox viable they should absolutly increase the range of the turret, amazing vid Rey

Lou's Ice Block should add a proportional amonunt of freeze based on how much damage it blocks to the enemy. For example, a single attack from Meg on the Ice Block would freeze her a tiny bit, while blocking a Demolition Dynamike super could even instantly freeze him! PLEASE REY WE NEED TO GET THIS IDEA TO SUPERCELL

I think Buzz's 2nd gadget is okay, but it definitely is a little more niche to use in regards to map, but if you use it with his eyes sharp star power and the speed gear it makes him really good for combing bushy areas and exposing enemies to your teammates

Gadget Buffs: Meg's Toolbox: +5% reload speed +25% area Lou's Ice Block: However much of Lou's gadget will freeze enemies depending on how much damage they would've dealt Ash's Rotten Banana: +35% rage -5% damage taken Jacky's Rebuild: Area radius 5x5 instead of 3x3 Eve's Motherly Love: Gadget will be available while hatchlings are on the field. Hatchlings health will not decay Buzz's X-Ray Shades: I love this gadget, so I don't know what to say for this one 😅

Jacky rework idea :D Every 1 out of three of her attacks are mid-long range, similar to fang's boots(range is not decided yet) but the Shockwave would be linear and broad and would deal some damage less than the main attack up close, now comes the super, she can build stuff like the obstacles that would give her cover, now by build stuff I mean two types of cover one can be destroyed by normal attacks(it would be instantly destroyed when normal attacks touch it but the attacks cannot pierce through that wall) and one wall would have a health to it, to destroy it damage has to be dealt to it, for this Jacky would use fractions of her super to build walls there would be a limit to which she can build walls (maybe 1 or 2). This whole system would give her a skill cap on when and how to build walls, how and when to use your super bar to build these temporary walls.. Edit: walls breaker attacks won't have any effect on it only the damage dealt to it matters not the utility in any form

Funny thing with Ash is that Rotten Banana is only useful at the start of a match to move to the center of the field, but never useful otherwise. Chill Pill is just stupid.

Buzz’s x-ray gadget is my absolute favorite gadget for solo showdown especially in extremely bushy maps! Borderline unbeatable! You just follow the person around, charging your supper while they are oblivious, and then super on them, kill then, and go do the same thing again.

Buzz 2nd gadget is pretty balanced with the 1st though, for example in Cavern Churn to decide whether you should be attacking (for example a Bo) or run away (for example a Shelly)

Cant believe how most people here thinks that Buzz's second gadget is one of the worst in the game. Its actually so broken in both solo and duo showdown to a point its a free rank 30. Being able to see everyone inside that huge radius is like tara's first gadget and its on a broken melee brawler who has a stun super AND it lasts for 12 seconds. Just use it in feast and famine and/or cavern churn and see the destruction you cause. I agree with all of the other gadgets in this video being trash in desperate need of a buff tho.

I find buzz's second gadget really useful actually mostly because it also shows proximity because before hand you don't really know whether the enemies are playing defensive or if they are approaching you just from the super charge trait. Other useless gadgets are griff's second gadget, max's second gadget, rico, spike's and dynamike's first gadget are also pretty bad

Buffing ideas for each gadget Toolbox: buff the range by 100% Ice block: Make the gadget freeze nearby enemies by 50% once lou gets freed from his stun RottenBanana: 40% damage but fill the ragebar compleatly or 40% ragebar no damage penalty Rebuild: Range increase by 200% Motherly love: Make the hatchlings hatch instantly along whit the healing X-Ray-Shades: Make the area deal like 300damage per second

Hey Rey, as always a really good video. But there’s one point where I know it’s wrong: the last gadget. Buzz’ second is maybe not good in maps like skull creek, pit stop or super beach but it’s insane on maps like chavern churn, double swoosh or feast or feamine. Buzz became insane on that kind of maps, so please try this gadget out. Go into a few games on chavern churn or feast or feamine and you gonna see tons of buzzes teaming. Bye.

Buzz’s gadget is only not used plenty because of the current maps on rotation. The moment snake parrie comes back it’s going to be one of the best. In the showdown Meta it’s always used for craven churn

The Buzz one I tried gor the very 1st time yesterday because that does show your team the brawlers' location as well (or did if it was patched). The biggest reason as a solo gamer who goes in with randoms is that you basically rely on yoyr teammates to be able to make use if this. That's it. The amount of times you instinctively end up gadgeting because you wish you had the other one is just a testament to how useful the other one is.

I disagree with the buzz gadgets. Cavern Churn and feast or famine are both maps where the second gadget is useful because even if you know there is someone in the bush, you don't know where. 12 is a really good time and I think the gadget is kinda underrated. Griff's second gagdet is the one that is just only useful in bossfight

The last example is bad because buzz's second gadget is actually really good. in three vs three modes you can help your teammates out and show where the enemy is and in solo showdown there are a lot of good maps like cavern churn which it is necessary

Lou’s gadget may be reworked by the amount of time, or if not maybe let it 1 second but have reduced movement speed and like 90% damage reduction. For Megs one we could expand her zone. Buzz one is great like people who are low skilled get buzz to rank 30 in cavern church easily (having the 30% more range super star power and the second gadget) . Ash one would be more like sacrifice 25% health and gain 60% rage.

Actually, buzzs 2nd gadget is really good in alot of maps and gamemodes, mainly ones with alot of bushes but even if it doesn't have alot being able to bushcheck from a distance is really useful for brawlers like buzz, and the duration is also really good That being said, I only really ever pick it in powerleague in that one bounty map, some gem grab maps and some brawl ball ones because it's dependent on if the enemy can assassinate/stun/cancel his super, because reserve buoy isn't very usefull if you're just throwing yourself to your death, while xray glasses allows you to check bushes so that you know who is there, rather than just seeing your super start to charge before being supered by a frank It's a pretty situational gadget, but I'd say it's decent, although definitely outclassed by the 1st in most situations (Also resevre buoy isn't good in shortranged/wall heavy maps)

Buzz 2nd gadget is actually a rlly good gadget in some maps like cavern churn, sneaky fields, pinhole putt and any other bush maps. I see alot of ppl use the 2nd gadget in bush maps as it pairs rlly well with the 2nd star power

Rework idea for megs toolbox gadget- She places her toolbox somewhere and Meg and her team get the buff if they are standing in it but also for only Meg as long as the toolbox is active then she gets the boost

I don't agree about buzz's second gadget though. Great video, but it can easily be on of the best gadgets on maps like cavern churn or feast or famine. It easily out class his 1st one.

Rey I agree with everything but the buzz gadget. That was wrong. This gadget is actually better than the other one in bushy maps. Sneaky fields map, you definitely want the vision gadget. You definitely underrated it

IMO buzz's second gadget is much better because the reserve buoy is only used for qiuck in'n'out in battle and it doesn't stun the enemies so it can't be used for attack like his main super the x-ray-shades are usefull for bush controll on the maps with a lot of bushes and can be used to easily sneak up behind enemies

Buzzes second gadget is actually pretty useful in maps where there’s a huge amount of grass in the middle.

Megs 2nd gadget still needs a radius buff 😂 also great video ❤

Rosa Gadget Bush is so bad because instead of the dev to change the bush grass depending on the bush color design on each map it sticks out like a sore thumb.

how can u forget bonnie's 2nd gadget in my opinion, buzz's gadget is very useful as u can instantly know where your enemy is coming from or what to do because with super charge, u wont know enemy's direction and their path

I found the healing gadget useless on ash, you only want to use it to survive, but inherently reducing your rage slows you down and lowers your damage, and the healing isn't enough to keep you alive in a situation where you would be able to escape just by running away. However the rage building gadget can actually be used after taking a initial chunk of damage and you sacrifice like less than 10% of your health but giving you a massive movespeed and damage buff which can be the difference between killing an enemy in 1 hit instead of 2. After your opponent has used all their ammo , being able to kill them without wasting your attack ammo to charge your rage and then get maybe one hit of 2400 off when you could get two 2400 hits enough to kill any 4200 hp brawler

People saying Poco's 2nd gadget Is trash when it low-key counters every type of cc and every poison type ability at the same time

I suggest a New Gadget for Ash: Just heat me Out The Gadget will cause Ash to Lose 50% Health but then gain Back 30% of Health🤝🏻👍🏻

Heavily disagree with Buzz's gadget. Yes, super charge area can tell that someone is nearby, but you don't now who's approaching, how is it moving. Basically you is still really limited in terms of info around. Plus most of the players don't build a team from the beginning and play with randoms. Buzz's 2nd gadget is really great on Bushy maps like center stage or Gem Fort

The fact that buzz’s second gadget was here even though it is so broken in showdown and a lot of maps in other modes with grass, yet poco’s second gadget wasn’t on here make me hella mad 😡😡😡😡😡

with lou's gadget we should also consider that back then last hurrah was invincibility too so you had movement, invincibility for 1s and a knockback

Your opinion is right in most of the gadgets but the only one you were wrong at is buzz gadget it's definitely useful a lot especially in the bushy maps like sneaky fields or cavern churn and the first gadget is not that good so it does not out shine it also I see people using buzz's second gadget a lot in ladder but they do not use it in the meta.

Belle’s second gadget: WHY would you use it? (okay it is fun but NOT good)

One of the worst gadgets in the game is Sam's second gadget. The explosion don't does any damage and it only drop them away if it hits a wall or at the end of his superrange. It would be better if it dealed damage or/and it also drop enemy's away if they being hitted by the super before it hitted the ground. Its just sooooooooooo weak

Tbh Jacky’s gadget needs a bigger radius, idc how big it needs to be the gadget is a cool idea but it has no reasons to use except for goofy cheese.

Dynamike's Fidget Spinner doesn't have any profitable use, even with that pitiful speed boost and decent damage from those sticks (try to hit them in the open field, good luck) free stun just outshines everything About 1st Lou's gadget, this gadget is underrated as heck, most casual players yeet their all ammo at you, then you can burst them down, this is whole lot easier with 2nd star power, I agree it needs some small fix or buff, but I will be using this gadget until I die by another Lou that will outplay me

For Toolkit it is so rarely used that I actually forgot it even exists. I don't actually remember the last time ive ever seen anyone use it.

2:07 i've had an idea on how to buff the second meg gadget for a while, the idea is to make the radius the same size as leon's lolipon gadget's radius

buzzs gadget:it really depends on the map i understand that but if you are in like caern churn you will know that they are some were in his super charger but you will not know were they are entirely but i dont think its good in 3v3 mods or in dules but i think it really depends on the map...

Well if you look in the post that the brawl stars team posted on their youtube channel where they ask what game mode do we want to see in the game ( the chess one), you can see in the comment that all the ones that got liked by brawl stars mentioned a 5v5 mode. Maybe we will finally see this mode in the game!!!

Your ranking is pretty accurate but being a Buzz main, I can tell you I use the second gadget quite often and I personally think this one is better than the other one all bush maps.

The Lou ice block gadget is actually busted in duels, allows to make your oponent lose ammo, what normally gives you time to finish your enemy as is a 1v1 I admit it absolutely sucks on 3v3

In my opinion buzz's second gadget is broken in really bushy maps like feast or famine or cavern churn,and other maps

I mean Lou's Ice Block could also counterattack spammer like me when I was playing as Edgar, Lou shield himself and during that time I spam causing zero damaging and I got defeated.

I feel like the brawl stars devs need to make it 40% loss of hp, but a 100% rage fill. It would make it somewhat good in the worst case scenario.

I find Pocos Protective tunes gadget useless cause it so situational. Like if your opponents don’t have any way to apply a status effect to you like poison or stun this gadget becomes obsolete during the match.

Buzz's x ray gadget is pretty good and I've seen a lot of people use it on high trophies. If it's map specific, it doesn't make it bad. You have a choice to use it or not

buzz second gadget has its use in showdown a lot as well as in other modes where there is moderate amount of grass i have seen it many times.

Lou's Immune gadget is really good Yes it has a downside but it's really good,if you use it to run into the middle where there's 2 brawlers and use it,block some damage and then get attacked again well yeah you might not like it,but I have been using it and I have gain so much advantage,I even tank 2 hits from a bull or a fang,or 3 from edgar while my teammate is attacking them,so usefull,the other one is too don't get me wrong it is,you can freeze them and catch up or survive because they got frozen way sooner,but you need to use the ice block correctly

Does anyone know about Amber's second gadget? I often see people use it nut I don't understand what you would ever use it for.

I have use lous invincibility gadget in a good way, the only times being when an Edgar jumps on you and auto amis all his shots

Imo Lou’s gadget is actually very useful and comes in clutch. With good timing u can make the enemy waste ammo and survive or even kill brawlers such as Leon and Bonnie

Cave churn, island invasion and any map maker showdown map are made for x ray shades

NononoNO! X-ray shades isn’t useless at all. In most cases the other gadget is better but the seeing in really bushy maps like cavern churn or sneaky fields it is super good Also when you have super you can’t scout with the radius charge, a cause for anxiety in showdown

Man toolbox is great, I'm able to play more agro, whenever I'm close to say a piper or any other similar kinda acts as a shield to block the projectiles, and it reloads the ammo so you can shoot faster jdmdnm

Well, I dont't really find any use for Carl's 1st gadget as his 2nd is waaaay more useful, and by far .Also Tick's 1st, well 6 mines instead of 4 ..3 times....can't say it's a game-changing gadget.Sam's 2nd, Bea's 2nd ,their 1st is so much better.

I disagree with Lou and Buzz's gadget kits being here, Lou's 1st gadget isn't the best but it isn't the worst. You could still consider this gadget instead of the other one since it's useful if say, to tank a Dyna super or tank Edgar shots when he jumps on you and alot of scenarios where this'll be great on. Buzz's 2nd gadget compare to his 1st one, yes I do agree that Buzz's kind of already have a way to check bushes, but you mentioned that it helps your teammates to see and that it's useless if you have a way to communicate with teammates, this doesn't make sense, vision is gonna be good for teammates even while on call, you don't really know where in your super charge area your opponents are in and with this gadget they can attack enemies hiding in the bushes much better. This gadget is especially good on bushy maps and can get enemies surprised. A lot of brawlers have worse gadgets than these 2 brawlers, like your favorite brawler dynamike, his fidget spinner compared to his satchel charge gadget is so laughable. Rico's 1st gadget compared to his 2nd one, and Spike with his 1st gadget compared to his 2nd one. Honestly these brawlers are more wothy to be here than Lou and Buzz.

These bad gadgets really do deserve reworks. I have used all of these at least once and immediately chosen other gadgets

Buzz second Gadget is bad? Its one of the BEST gadgets for Bush maps. And it being outshined by the first one is cap in my opinion.

I am surprised you didn’t mention Fidget Spinner. Compared to Sachen Charge it’s laughable, even with the speed boost it gives.

7:03 an Idea for the rebild gagdet: jacky debilds or bilds the area around her (half her main atack range). With that, she is able to destroy walls or make them in a much larger area.

I feel like they should just not have the time limit on the placable gadgets, for me it makes them almost pointless to even use any of them

The worst gadget in the game is jackys building it doesn’t give any advantage at all or doesn’t influence gameplay as wall breakers will continue to break the walls. Tripwire for bo also needs a rework.

Not only gadget but star power got same problem "one to good than the other" and some just not make sense but the worse one been just straight up buff like HP increase, attack speed increases but there no others mechanic behind it nad just pretty much a buff in form of star power that worth 2k gold that so hard to get (except you get them from box before bye-bye boxes) yeah definitely not worth the trouble for it -_-

I think Lou's useless gadget should be like: Lou gets a second of immunity and whoever attacks him will get freezed by 1.5 seconds This sounds better while quite ridiculous. Your thoughts?
