James recorded 28 points, 11 rebounds and a season-high 17 assists for the Lakers, while Anthony Davis added 30 points and 11 rebounds in the victory. CJ McCollum tallied 25 points and seven assists for the Pelicans in the losing effort. The Lakers finish the regular season at 47-35, while the Pelicans finish 49-33.

I feel like the lakers should Duck smoke and lose to the pelicans to avoid a potential matchup with the nuggets, go for the 8th seed instead and set up a better match up against 1st seed okc
