Nobody played, dude, just Josh Green, THJ and garbage time squad (same thing last game). Even Thunder main players got 15min each or so. Mavericks had 5th spot guaranteed (division winners -- even if Pelicans had beaten the Lakers and caught up with 50-32, it wouldn't matter), thus they rested rotation players (Luka, Kyrie, DJJ, PJ, Gafford, Exum, Kleber and Lively) last 2 games. Also, Clippers lost their last 3 games, so if Mavs really wanted home court advantage, they would have played for real the last 2 and tried to get to #4 to face -- guess who? -- the Clippers still. Mavs are 16-4 last 20 games (beat the Nuggets during that stretch, btw), with 2 of those 4 losses coming from resting their A and B teams for playoffs. Clippers are 10-10 and nobody knows whether or not Kawhi is really injured. Your comment makes no sense.

last two games literally didnt matter for the standings . mavs were 1 game behind and clips won 2-1 in regular season . clippers would need to loose both games against rockets and jazz (which they did ) but my bet is if mavs played 1st team so would clippers (pg13 played 8min , russ played less then 5 , kawai didnt even play and harden played 10 ) and they still lost by 1 point they were rdy to play but im guessing they saw mavs resting so clippers decided to rest too . both teams basically said screw this lets rest before real game.

@@nikki-op4xj yeah, resting since 2nd quarter of the game before this, so 2 games in practical terms. Game was level against G-league Pistons in the 1st half, then the kids were let out to play because it simply didn't matter. There's some pretense going on for bureaucratic reasons, so much so that 8 players resting yesterday were on injury report with fake issues. Point stands. The only real mistery is Kawhi, cause his knees are notoriously bad (have plagued his career at times -- plus he's not getting any younger) and Lue is deliberately vague when asked. Most likely he's ok, just resting, but if he's really injured, Clippers will have a bad time, as his elite defense -- along with PG13's -- is highly needed to try and offset Luka and Kyrie.

So they exposed someone that did not play in a game that has not value for one team (and that rests players for the playoffs) but alot for the other... Don't get me wrong, they are talented players and you can make a case, but I wouldn't use this game
