In the trailer for Fortnite Season 9, we see good ol' Jonesy and everyone's new favorite banana-man, Peely, get trapped in a bunker. Two characters go in, only one comes out. Well peely's seeds would grow more peelys right? So many be peelys grow large enough to eat quicker than bananas do, and maybe peely does indeed have the calorie equivalent of fat, with all the nutrients needed to survive. if we make those presumptions, jonesy could survive the worst case senario. TBH im more concerned about where he been getting water from.

Another concern with the bananas is a lack of something called niacin (or vitamin B3), it's not something that's brought up a lot nowadays because its not a real concern, but a niacin deficiency leads to an affliction called "Pellagra". The symptoms of which include but are not limited to hallucinations, diarrhoea and loss of appetite, so you can see how this would be a problem.

Update on this theory, new lore has shown that Jonesy doesn't age the same as normal (as stated by him claiming he has worked for the Imagined Order for centuries). His slowed aging may also have slowed his metabolism.

Little did everyone know, Jonesy was immortal. He probably ate peely for his sanity. In the loop, jonesy is not immortal, but the storm would have killed him while he was in the bunker. The IO made him immortal so either way he would have survived.

Ok first off peely is actually half human half alien because he has a Halloween outfit and it shows his skeleton and the alien part is because his brain is at the bottom of him period. In 15:03 matpat said that 1. neo tilted came out way early 2. jonsey found anther food source but i got more theory's myself 3. Peely is a super food so his seeds AND him grow faster like in 1-3 days, or in fortnite plants grow faster than normal. 4 Jonsey eats 2-4 times a week because like matpat said you can survive for 3 to 4 weeks before you die of starvation so he was on a super diet. 5. there are 100 frtelizers in the bunker fertilizers in the bunker

You need milk (and sugar but i think you can skip that) to make a smoothie, milk is obligatory in this "optimistic" way cuz you can also make one out of water, in this optimistic way he has a milk source and can add more calories to the diet, you also don't need a full banana to make a smoothie so he could prolly divide peely better and for far longer (even if it's for the last bites as we see on the end)

Or maybe the superfruit has seeds that take as long as bananas to grow, which would explain why the superfruit looks like a banana or at least one of the reasons it looks like a banana, that would mean that the seeds would still only take approximately 6 months to grow which is just a little less than 2 years before he would run out of his initial source

Matpat, there are three things you are missing. A: He can also eat the skin of Peely. B: The seeds could come from the super banana, therefore, he would survive long enough to see the next batch of the super bananas. And finally , C: He could also resort to Cannibalism on parts of his body that he doesn't need, and there *probably* would be medical supplies in there to help him recover from that, and he could have a *slight* chance of being a technological genius, and he could take spare parts from the arcade machines to build prosthetic body parts. Also, yes, I know I am VERY late, but I got this in my recommended and decided to watch it

Well now we know that peely is 100 percent banana under that peel with that summer pack, and after being stuck in that buncker with no food for a long time and just didn't stop eating for a month and now look at him with the relaxed fit jonesy

My thoughts on it, since we see tge empty can, its possible peely and Jonesy had a fridge but being uncaring people they didnt care till they realized they had nothing. Its possible the food lasted them up to 3 months away, especially if theres refridgerated foods and cans in the cupboards, and THEN at a last resort started eating peely. Also we know Jonesy didnt eat the peel cuz his model in the trailer and in game has him wearing a mostly rotted banana peel cape clipped onto his shoulder pads.
