I used to listen to GB a lot in the late 90's with my best friend. She had a worn-out tape from her past, and we'd play it each week, to much dismay of our other friends ;) We were an "alternative" and metal bunch. After we lost contact, I haven't heard GB for ages. But I also saw this performance on TV, and ever since I'm listening to Friends in low places, The River and The Dance, and all those other great songs. Thank you Garth Vader :))

After 9-11, he played a nationally televised concert from the deck of the USS Enterprise in November 2001. I was onboard as we had just returned to Norfolk, VA from an deployment that was extended by the events of 9-11 and our military's response. He delivered an amazing, moving and healing concert, and the same echoes true for his performance yesterday. We needed that.

I don't know if you would be interested or not, but the website is nrdc.org and search What is the Keystone Pipeline XL ? I found it to be quite an eye opener.
