Great video... years ago I drove down to what was my new hunting grounds. I had a small feeder set up and wanted to get the feeder before gun season opened the next day. It was dark when I arrived. While in route my nephew called me to tell me that he was there with a friend and had harvested a doe. I arrived after sunset and started my trip across the property. I heard something whistle. It was close. It was one of those soft whistles that you use to get someone's attention close by, but you don't want to announce your position. I thought it was my nephew. I called his name several times. Nothing. I figured I heard my nephew whistle at his friend below the ridge. I turned and took off down the trail. I eventually crossed the power-line that splits the property. As soon as I got to the other side, I ran into my nephew and his friend with his harvest. I looked at him and plainly said, "If you're here, who the heck whistled at me back there!?!" That was 10 years ago. Merry Christmas!

GARY, I just left EAST TEXAS for the 2nd Yr in a Row... We Heard Quick Whistles from the TREES & The man we were with Knows all the KNOWN ANIMAL'S But we also heard something slowly Creeping in on us from Behind & the sides & It kept happening at different forests & No cougar attacks nothing So .. We Saw the wild boar & they ran away & Made Some Grunting Gutteral Hog noise & ran.. We Also Heard a Dog Barking & then Something much bigger Pretending to bark like a Dog from across a Pond...

Here in Oklahoma we are having record breaking temps with tomorrow being in the 80's they are saying and in the 70's for Christmas then back in the 80's for Sunday. We will see! Ooo the last one's were loud! Not sure about the whistle either! Thanks for sharing!!! 👍💝💚💝💚💝👍

Oh my lord. The first one definitely has the strange sound of a pipe...the second one...I had my ear buds in, volume up, shut my eyes. I think you had your volume up also...that was so LOUD I JUMPED. THAT ONE IS TOTALLY UNEXPLAINED!! WHOAAA

I live in NH in a small city close to downtown, but close to woods too. Something whistled at me from my backyard one night when I had the dog out. He wanted to run to the backyard and I dragged him behind me into the house! I won’t go in the backyard at night anymore. In regards to the breaking wood, if you don’t see something fresh right there, search in circles out and look for prints. If wood were going to break ie from stepping on it, there would have to be some weight. If something ran into wood and broke it, I’d think you’d get a breathy exhalation. I wonder about the size of the trunk. Something clearly broke and you had all that racket before. Ever left the parabolic there before? Wasn’t sure. I admire the work you are doing! It’s such a great mystery and I love that u get to at least armchair it a little. Thank you and Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!

I was out on a hike up on the Montana/ Idaho border when I heard a whistle. Imagine if you will someone blowing a two-toned plastic whistle. It started high and then fell down to about halfway and stopped. Then a split second later it started at a lower octave and did the same thing until it disappeared. I'm guessing that it was less than a hundred yards away. Shortly after that I heard a whooooaahh. My impression of this was it was a juvenile calling for its mother. Also the impression I got during the whistles was of a curve as the sound diminished. not straight down. I walk this area a lot and always go in peace. I get the impression immediately upon exiting the vehicle is that they know I am there and are ok with it. In this area I have also heard 3 tree knocks and smelled them twice. In another area my wife and I found 22" X 8" X 2" deep tracks.

The first [faint] wood knock sounds ...more metallic to me...not wood. The second branch break knock was strange but for sure... wood.

The most terrifying sound they make are the humanlike vocalizations. I think those prove this thing is the missing link.

We are also due to set record temps in the next few days. 71F in late December is insane to me. We have definitely jacked up climate/weather patterns in my lifetime. I worry about what our future generations are going to have to deal with as a result of our selfishness. I fear there will be a generation whose "Great War" will literally be the result of a fight over water.

That cracking sound of the breaking branch sounded close to the dish. Natural accident? I think it would be interesting looking for a large break in that area. There is something that jumps in the tree branches behind you right when you say you brought chicken and putting it out at night. I had to rewind a few time but you can see something swing across the tree branch in the background behind you!

I was thinking -- could it be youths or females with "companions" being trained by another older, experienced "being" in your location because of your snow delay and all dangerous animals to "THEM" have left or are hibernating. Maybe "They" are relocating or traveling to a more inhabitable environment and you are catching their training sessions communicating, screaming, whistling, knockings, and howls...Just my weird thinking to try to explain your sound collections on cold days in December. Yeah, spooky! Definite activity taking place though. Some distant - other stuff closer. Seems to be a definite and regular connection between the onset of activity and the sun going down. Also, sounds like some force behind that branch/s snapping - and hence size of the 'being' (whatever) that's doing it. Was that meant for you? Are you being observed? Useful evidence and definitely of interest, I'd say - but still frustratingly inconclusive. It's almost as if you're being toyed with!
