A long interview with the symbol of the Chechen fight for freedom, a former high ranking officer of the Soviet Army, he commanded squadrons of the Soviet strategic bombers and at the dawn of the USSR was elected President of Ichkeria. He fought Russian invasions of Chechnya and was assassinated by two Russian missiles on April 21, 1996 during his satellite call to the Russian M.P. Konstantin Borovoy. A man of courage and vision, he shares his views on Russia's behaviour towards its former Soviet subjects, Soviet and Russian militaries.
