Fun facts about this song: 1. It is written by Vincent Fang, who is best known for writing Blue and White Porcelain (青花瓷) sung by Jay Chou. 2. The Singer Liu Huan is credited to being one of the pioneers of China's modern pop music. He has sung multiple theme songs for different Chinese media since the late 1980s. He is also currently a University professor teaching the history of Western music.

This is huge for Chinese audiences. Liu Huan's status in the Chinese music industry is roughly equivalent to Elton John's in Britain. Now imagine a game that has Elton John sing its advertising song.

He has an absolutely fantastic voice, I have never heard of him before. It's quite sad that music has such a hard time crossing borders unless you really look for it. Sometimes a hit like Gangnam Style does spread to a lot of the world but it's truly rare. I do listen to a few world radio stations but even here, I haven't come across any Chinese or, say, Vietnamese music. Most of them are American stations so the 'world' is South America, some Africa, and a little Europe.

Fun Fact for the singer, as someone who is nearing my mid twenties, this gentleman was the icon of my mothers generation. I can only recommend his works like: Hao Han Ge, Tian di zai wo xin or Cong tou zai lai. Very classic songs, I would even say that almost everyone can hum some parts to it

It's not just a song it's a younger generation paying a tribute to an amceint ancestor genshin takes inspiration from older scriptures and dynasty like many games do but what it does different is it explores and honours in a unique way. This song went crazy. I love it's melodious aura, it calms me and reminds me of the past and that I must connect with my ancestors. But, it also inspired courage and the promise of a bright new future! Lots of love to Liu Huan and Mihoyo, this collab is something we needed.

Sanxingdui is a very impt archaeological site for Chinese history, it filled in the knowledge of China's own ancient Bronze Age. Sanxingdui museum are clearly doing this to get the next generation interested in their own history. The choice of Zhongli as the one who remembers this past, and the song that sings about the hope that this past will be remembered and revered by others once more is just perfect.

I am absolutely blown away! The vocals, the instruments, THE MESSAGE!!! It really made me think! It made me imagine how all the ancient stories, books and accounts we read today were once written by someone's hand and that someone wouldn't even be able to imagine how their work would not only be read by their people, but by millions across the world!!! Right now, I, a Bulgarian, can open up a magical book and read texts from China without even needing to go to China or know Mandarin Chinese! We take this connectedness we have today for granted, but with this song, for but a moment, we can remember that everything we have was carefully made, stored and passed along by gentle hands. Thank you, Hoyo!

China needs to give Hoyoverse a nobel prize honestly... Here in the west we dont get to learn a lot about the culture of Asian countries even less from China, but Hoyoverse really does teach us things, through songs, throughs collabs, through events inside their game not only about culture in their country but also others countries as well. We are basically having fun playing their games but slowly being thaught a lot about human culture in general. I really never thought i would enjoy this kind of stuff they do, like the cooking recipes or the general ancient arts like sculpture in eggsshell, it's insane.
