So funny to watch this years later having visited Croatia in the last year. The bridge that "plans were scrapped" for is now finished and I believe it's set to open soon. I still had to go through the Neum corridor with its passport checks but I could see the bridge from the bus. Was pretty cool. Oh, and Zagreb is super underrated. Great town.

It was formed in 925 and between year 1091 and 1918 it was in personal union with my country - Hungary. Over 800 years both countries prospered and suffered together. It was a war between two separate countries. Serbia attacked Croatia because Croatia proclaimed it's independence from Yugoslavia. We call it homeland war. Calling this war a civil war gives it a wrong connotation.
