Messi feels safe from Gerda and so he can "flirt" and not run away... Also, he "flirts and teases" Gerda when she is in her aviary and they have "nose to nose time..." 😉😊 I got a laugh out of Sasha calling Gerda his "little girl"... 😉😊😂 Cheetahs are born with a mane that goes from the top of their heads to their tails and it is designed to help camoflage the cubs and to make them look like the feared honey badger to deter predators... As they grow up, the mane disappears... Except for the area between the front shoulders... It does look soft... Is it soft ? I remember Alexey and Kevin Richardson talking about what the manes of their lions felt like... I think that Alexey Saud that the manes were somewhat soft and Kevin said that his lions' manes felt stiff...🤔 And Gerda shows off her ability to smell things like the ryazhenka that may have been spilt there... And it looked like Masha at the window, but the caption said "grandma"... 🤔😉😊

It looked like there wasn’t any aggression between Gerda and Messi this time. Maybe they are making progress toward getting along.

@@Sachinha0 Hi Sacha ! 👋 Since Gerda lived as a "wild" cheetah with all of her natural instincts intact at the African preserve and at the Sochi Zoo... I was reminded of Sasha mentioning Gerda's predatory nature and that was why she and Kira never met... He said that Gerda would see Kira as prey... And still being "wild at heart" and territorial, I think that she sees Messi as an intruding cheetah that might challenge her... 🤔 Remember how she went after Messi when he got into her aviary... That scared Messi enough to never play in the yard with her... Or be in an open space with nowhere to flee to... She has chased him around the outside of the house... And in another video where Gerda is in the house... She hissed at Messi's toys... That doesn't sound friendly ! Right now, both have a way of visiting each other via their enclosures... Maybe they will become "friends" but not today... But, Sasha and Masha are working at it ! 👏❤

I agree and I studied her detail on her body and the detail on her face all the way to her tip of her tail. So unique. She looks like she should be on a run way with a famous singer "Diamonds In the Sky"
