@@robbie6833 many og boxing fans has known this for over the past 20 years. Usually when you see a top fighter get destroyed we'd see Buddy McGirt in their corner. Yet I had no idea he had a fighter legit get killed under his guidance. The guy is actually much worse than we thought.

You realize trainers get hired by other boxers too 🤣, it's not like he would've been outta work or somethin, in fact trainers train multiple fighters at a time, and no offense meant by those poor men but it's not like they're big names so that's why I say it's a weird place to come to, it's not like they were Terrence Crawford or somethin, your thinkin far too deep into it I think fella, he was just putting it gently that he's stopping the fight cuz he knows he has a warrior infront of him who won't stop till he drops, all trainers have different methods for different fighters, he clearly saw how beat up he was and didn't wanna belittle him anymore then he would've already felt in that moment, to go as far as to say that he was too afraid of being replaced to stop the fighter more aggressively is nuts, they're humans too with human emotions and don't like seeing their guy hurt, that trainer is probably out somewhere hurting right now and goin off at himself for not being more cautious, but the truth is it would've happened no matter who was training him or when they stopped it, head trauma waits for nobody, ESPECIALLY in a deadly sport like boxing where they trade blows for 12 rounds with 8-12oz gloves on increasing the impact to the head, boxing needs to fix their gloves man, there's a reason boxers die more then MMA fighters, as well as maybe shorten the rounds. Also gotta remember that a trainer plays a bigger role then just some dude yelling call outs to you, they're your father, mother and a friend all in 1 so to them it's like watching their kid gettin beat sometimes.
