Tesla is addressing this by installing longer charging cords on all series 4 chargers and beyond. This will allow for every space to be utilized effectively.

Petrol isn’t universal. I need 91+ for my Acura, 87 for my wife’s van. Diesel for my work truck. They just put all of the options at the same location. My small lawn gear needs ethanol free.

@@boss133749 The nozzle for gasoline is the same, everywhere in the world. The nozzle for diesel is the same, everywhere in the world. There is no reason not to standardize a charging port the same way the world has adopted USB-C

Cmon, this type of charging is in its infancy. These things take time to evolve. If the Ford was on the streets around 1903, do the math & picture EV’s are in the early 1900’s

Yeah the NCAS. They charge at 350Kw. So 1400 miles an hour 230 miles in 10 minute. Me personally I’m comfortable with 100kw cause I like to stop for lunch and I needed like 30 minutes

Love the truck just wished it had double the charge speed. The cyber truck starts at 350kw but the curve is not great.

Eventually electric charging stations will become as expensive to use as filling up with gas. It’s only a matter of time.

You only use these public chargers when on a road trip. We have a Lightning with a home charger. It only costs $3-5 to charge to a full 320 miles at home. Certainly cheaper and cleaner than gas.

that's only true in specific situations. e.g driving a prius or car that is 50 mpg average with gas prices averaging 3.5$ a gallon. aside from that its way better than any car averaging 40 mpg with gas prices at 5 dollars a gallon. which is essentially all of California

Better yet charge at home over night for much cheaper and you never need to use this unless on a road trip. Obviously you know nothing about EV ownership.

@@tonyd9830what do you pay for oil changes? Transmission services? Or are you one of those thousands of people that does not do service on a vehicle? Btw, no oil changes on an EV or transmission oil services, timing belt service, or again plug service.
