He’s a MASSIVE CROCODILE 🐊& DESERVES MUCH MUCH RESPECT!!!! I looked up how much he weighs & it’s almost 2000 lbs😳thank you Chris for NEVER turning away from any animals reptiles birds etc that need care💜💜

How much is 2000lbs in kilos also crocs are insanely dangerous but are also v ray loyal if you do something life saving for it but you should always always stay protected and watch your surroundings while near or around them

Ted was only about 15cm short of the world record holder (in captivity) croc Cassius. Ted passed in 2018. I had the best experience with Ted on one of those boats. While feeding crocs a large male went for the food and Ted smashed the other male. Then appeared along side the boat as if to taunt us. Then went under the boat and lifted the entire boat like 20cm and did so three times. He was an amazing animal.

For those of you not familiar with metric, 900 kilos is roughly 1,980 pounds. So Ted over there is roughly a full ton. BIG BOY.

When I was there I had the best experience with Ted. He attached another Croc and lifted the boat we were on a good 20cm and he did it three times. He was definitely not a placid animal. Very impressive.

@@dawgpost90 not quite but I get it for sure. People can't comprehend that an animal just does not think like a human. It does not have the pieces to. Some mammals maybe, but not a dinosaur like Ted.

@@dawgpost90 nope. An animal that feels entirely unsafe will not stay that calm. That's not humanize it (attribute human characteristics or behavior to (a god, animal, or object). it's animal behavior

Have seen plenty of crocs with half their top jaw gone and plenty with half their bottom jaw biten off and they still are able to catch food and stay pretty healthy. They just adapt their hunting style to compensate for the injury. It's incredible what injuries they can recover from.

Very normal for North Queensland and the Northern Territory I am in South East Queensland and love the beach so I'm very glad we don't usually have them down this far, though with the water warming they may start coming down 😭 I love crocs but want them to stay up North down here we just have all the sharks and Jelly fish etc less threatening then the crocs 🤣

Wow that was a very tame Croc usually they get about 100 men pinning one down and tieing them up but here he's just casually sitting in front of him like he's a pet dog xD

I’ve seen crocs in South America. Unless you’ve seen one, you can not believe how massive they are and scary. Alligators look tame in comparison😢

It depend from a croc to one other, some are truly enormous and some are smaller, 5 meters is a common size.

That’s a rule of thumb. Not a certainty. Some 100 year old crocs are less than 5 meters. Most are larger. This one is 5.4, as they said 10 times
