Oh, go! Girl, it's been awhile, you've lost your pretty smile, what happened? Was it something that they said that's playing with your head, what happened? When you're standing in the spotlight, woman, some people try an' take a shot Well it's only jealousy, only jealousy, oh they can't see our love But one thing you can be sure of You know that I'm a believer, in you an' me You know that I'm a believer, oh it's true And no matter what you do, girl, I believe in you I believe! Oh it's never what you hear, it's only what you feel that matters Left your brother stand alone, you kept climbing social ladders When it comes down to basics, and we're lookin' at it one on one It don't matter what they say, matter what they say About us now, ah, can't hurt us now But one thing you can be sure of You know that I'm a believer, in you, I believe You know that I'm a believer, oh it's true And no matter what you do, girl, I believe The only way to win child, is never play the game of love But I'll be there to catch you even if you should ever fall But one thing you can be sure of You know that I'm a believer, in you, in me You know that I'm a believer, girl it's true, and no matter what you do You know I'm a believer, in you, in love You know that I'm a believer, oh it's true And no matter what you do, girl, I believe in you, oh in me, oh in love You know that I'm a believer, oh it's true And no matter what you do, girl, I believe

The song is incredible but the video is pretty bad. I don’t know what the video director was trying to do here. No one wants to see red ants, and the Inglewood Oil Field scenery.

This ROCKS...Dan Huff is an absolutely KILLER GUITARIST...great chops , excellent sense of melody and talk about a grasp of mixing licks and tricks...WOW !!!

Most underrated guitarist and singer ever. Dan Huff is so extremely talented. Loved Giant and his independent stuff.

How is it that this band was never more popular? I'm still rockin these great songs from the amazing sounding Giant!

Dan huff is such an amazing guitar player and producer, the whole album has so many great songs
@daveholmes87459 років тому
This song contains all of the ingredients that made rock music of the late 80's and early 90's so great. A rockin' groove, catchy hooks, big guitars, big drums and strong vocals with good lyrics. Loved it then and love it even more today. Thank you degutony and rock on!!!
@raytrotta3 роки тому
Rock on! All the best.

Dave Holmes that's because Dan Huff is one of the greatest musicians on the planet and now he's also one of the greatest producers also, that absolutely loves every moment he get to jump into the studio with his guitar, he never was a fan of the stage, Giant was just a pet project that Dan had always wanted to do, but his heart belongs in the studio.

Great band guitars remind me of E.V.H. and the band overall just sounds great.

Also, great hair.

This band deserved so much more. What talent...What brilliant music...And Boy Dan has some guitar skills...i think Vito Bratta of White Lion and Dan Huff are probably two of the most underappreciated guitarists out there. Those two have guitar skills that is unworldly.

The sound and life of the eighties. Long haired good looking tall guys. Rockman type guitar sound with stereo spreaded, miles in distance. Delay and Chorus. That are the eighties.

Loved this album (and still do) when it originally came out. Awesome songs with an awesome production.

Yup, me too. It’s still one of my go to albums for my work outs. I’m waiting for Siri to tell me one day, “you have over 300 albums ripped to your iPhone. Maybe play some of them?” LOL
@carlrobson57455 років тому
probably the most underated band of the late 80s early 90s

Pity grunge killed music like this, now i like many grunge bands, and was there at time and did find it exciting this new movement. But always loved huge melodic rock, and brought this album on import from shades up London. Was and is still a beast of an album. Wonder had it not been for grunge would they have gone on early 90s to been huge.
@slavetometal85293 роки тому
I have pretty much the same problem. I despised Grunge for many many years. Now I can't believe I just bought the remastered edition of "Nirvana - Nevermind". Now I'm like "Oh. It's not that bad". But still it does NOT beat Metal or Glam Metal.
@scottlarson15482 роки тому
At this point (late 1989) a lot of rock bands were doing little more than cranking out generic power ballads to hit the Top 40. It really seemed like the genre had run its course to me.
@jerodjames93962 роки тому
Can not agree with you more chris mahon!
@Kriegsbeil55772 роки тому
Giant, Slaughter, Firehouse and Steelheart should have been massive bands (although, to be fair, Slaughter and Firehouse did really, really well in Asia in the early to mid 90's) but Billboard decided to end Hair Metal once Nirvana's "Nevermind" (shit band, shit album, btw) came out.

@motorcitymanman7711Рік тому
They should have debut in 87 instead of 89 when the beginning of GRUNGE came on the scene with Nirvanna.......if they did those 2 years would have gave them the momentum to be a Superstar band.
@theaterdreamer5 років тому
I would love this video if they didn’t have to cut the shit out of Dann’s fantastic lead playing to start and end the song. Dann Huff is a freaking monster. The guy has so many little tricks in his tool bag. His solo in Stay still blows my mind.
