they're doing motion capture on a cat, but they don't capture the movement of the tail? seems like that's one of the most important parts if you wanna capture the realism of their movement

a tail can just be simulated with a physics engine, it's the musculature and interactions between the environment and limbs that need to be motion tracked. Also tails are hard as hell to attach the motion trackers on.
