There were so many times during the rockets days when he will get an open shot and wait for the defender to come to him and dribble and then shoot. Harden isn’t the same as before his hamstring injury as far as explosiveness. His handles and shooting allows him to still get by his defender but he isn’t able to finish like he used to or get the same separation he used to get because of the lack of explosiveness. He could still give you 20 a night though if he shot more and wasn’t the 3rd option.
