Yes, that's the thing that all these channels have in common. They all do their "crafts" in what appear to be silt beds of old river deltas or something, where the ground is just solid clay for like 15 meters down. Having dug many many holes over the years im confused as to where all the removed earth went, as anyone that digs a hole in compacted soil will tell you if you dig a 1 cubic anything hole you end up with roughly 2 cubic anythings because its no longer compacted. so the pile of material removed would be roughly twice the size of what we see here.. its a good video but I suspect there is way more going on behind the scenes for sure.. that said she clearly has some very nice skills and is a pleasure to watch her make stuff etc.

@@LilNewo This isn’t about being bright. This is about being a lean muscular weapon of a human being like this girl (assuming she didn’t have off-camera help). It’s no small feat to shovel and dispose of a literal metric ton of dirt/clay/soil/whatever, and most 1st world people couldn’t do all that in a reasonable amount of time, especially on a fairly unnutritious diet of sweet potatoes and water. That said, I’m not sure the editing of the video is completely honest- there are primitive survival/home channels that are more honest about the weeks or months it takes to build stuff like this on yourself.
@aheadatime2 роки тому
@@slippydouglas His point wasn't that the chick in the video was bright, it was that viewers who believe she did this all alone aren't. The amount of digging and shoveling out the dug-out dirt would have taken one person weeks or months. It's more likely that she had the help of 5-15 men, and the majority of the work was done off-camera. These types of videos are shot in poor countries and villages who understand that making a viral video will pay more than a years worth of labor in their country. Even divided amongst the workers, digging a big hole with 10 people in a couple days will likely pay them all off enough to not work for months. The illusion that it was all done by a single chick wearing the same clothes over the course of the months it took her to do this is what adds to the click-bait-yness of the video, which increases its value, which pays them all more. It wouldn't be nearly as interesting of a video if it said "10 men dig a hole in the ground".

I don't doubt her because she's a woman; instead, I doubt her because of various other factors relating to the production of the video (camera work [it moves in human ways] camera setup time compared to the approximate time of day), the stamina of the individual featured, the ease of the construction of everything (Easy crafts DIY I suppose but still) and the strange lapses of time between what would otherwise be an incredibly lengthy segment (digging the pit to the size and precision that was done could not feasibly be done by any 1 human in the time it appeared to be completed in). Very sus indeed. Despite this, it was still an enjoyable video. I like the part where she lights a fire in a tree! What a fantastic way to start a forest fire if your environment is even remotely dry!
