She’s a visionary, a primitive artist and survivalist. It’s truly humbling and inspiring to watch. ‼️

I’d love to know her story. Where did she get her skills? Why is she living on her own instead of in the village nearby? Is this her full-time residence? How long do her projects actually take? She’s so amazing, but I feel like there’s more to her than what she shows here.

This is a reminder of how spoiled we typically are and how BEAUTIFULLY simple life should be and how most of our energy and efforts should naturally be on survival , creativity and being self sufficient with nature and the tools around us . This is beyond beautiful and inspiring

The way she uses clay for padding and enamelling the pool is exactly the same as my grand-parents in Europe used to build sheds and outside ovens for baking bread and food. I've never tasted a better bread than my grandmother used to make. I still remember as a child they let me walk in the pile of mud, exactly like she does. And the painting too!

I’m still wondering if she built some sort of water filtering system or how she’ll do to get rid of all that water once it gets dirty and full of bugs, frogs, larvae and whatnot. Would that pool hold and not start eroding off if it rains? So many questions, so little answers

To say that "I'm impressed" would be the understatement of the century. So I've tried to find a more accurate and suitable way of saying how I feel about this young lady and what she has built for herself, by herself, but I've failed completely. Maybe we don't even have words for this yet, seeing as it's not something we see very often...The best I can do is to say that I'm in awe of her; she is quite literally AWESOME. I know my chances of visiting her are slimmer than the likelihood of a snowball surviving a trip to hell, BUT it would be an honor to get the chance to meet her and experience her life in the home she created for herself by hand. She put her blood, sweat, and tears into this project; a true labor of love. Not only is it functional, it's also incredibly beautiful! I'm head over heels in love with every aspect of her, and her home.💕

Okay..that’s beautiful…it truly is. My question is..HOW LONG did it take from start..to finish..from wake up digging..to taking a swim..for this project to complete? It’s a fair question. This woman as some serious skills but I doubt she is just waking up building pools and building underground shelters. I believe there is more assistance being provided than what is shown on camera.

Does anyone know anything about the termite mound/wood ash plaster that they use in these videos for waterproofing?? As shown in these videos, it appears to be an excellent form of plaster/stucco, with characteristics most contractors could only dream of! (try mixing a Portland cement mix with your feet, and applying it with your hands and see how long you can go before you have no skin left!) However, I can't really find anything about it. Just a few papers looking at termite mounds soil/ant hill soil as an adjunct to cement mixes or for ceramics use, and most of these papers are quite recent and mostly focus on mount soil from Nigeria or other more arid environments. My Filipino girlfriend says that this is fairly common practice in the Philippines, but she was far to young when she moved to Canada to remember any details. It seems it's similar to the basic recipe for wood ash concrete if made from high calcium wood, but regular wood ash concrete is not waterproof, and is not very durable. I expect that the termite clay is effectively pre-screened, and would be comprised of extremely fine silt, but i can't imagine that those properties alone would be enough to make it impermeable and durable. How durable is it? is it completely impermeable? does it require mound soil from a particular type of termite? or mounds made in a particular type of soil?

Can we all just take the time to appreciate that at 7:20 ish, she took the time to go back and forth, just to lay down every single individual square of grass to make the project look even better! A lot of parts of this video look like she was going through a pretty tedious process doing the same thing over and over. Good job, and keep up the good work!

This Outdoor Livingroom & Round Swimming pool is So Exotic & beautiful! I adore the golden floral accents on the poles! She done another strong and interesting place! I love the deep bold purple,bright blue ,fuchsia and golds colors! The way this place is designed reminds me of an Indian Arabic or Thailand palace room! This young woman work does not cease to amaze me or others! I really hope that her designed Vila houses & outdoors pools will last for a long time! This young woman's creative mind is a perfect example of what any of us can perform. I lived in a tent for six months while building our cabin w/my husband, who's since passed away. He was a physician who could recall everything we needed while in town shopping for supplies needed to build our cabin & sheds w/out a list of supplies required to construct these buildings. When it began to snow, I gave in & we bought a 30' travel trailer to sleep in at night in the forest. It was the best life experience other than giving birth to my two children. I proved to myself that I was capable of more than I had given myself credit for. If needed, any of us women can do anything we set our minds upon.
