@Ilovemyfriendssomuch How about you look closely at the clip before you comment? The room they were in just had two sinks. There were two doors on the left and right that led to separate bathrooms one for the girls and one for the boys. This is really not hard people and it’s not uncommon.

There is so much drama always happening in our school and rumors get spread everywhere. It really hurts. People told lies about me and I felt left out because nobody wanted to hang out with me anymore over something I didn’t do. Luckily I found better friends to hang out with that wouldn’t do that.

This whole story reminds me of a bad experience I had in high school. People at my lunch table spread a rumor about me hating a certain race. I reported it to the school administration and they forced everyone to apologize to me. The worst part of it all was that someone actually got hurt by the rumor and the administration said that it was not to be believed. Fortunately, the administration acted and forced everyone to apologize. The moral of this story is if all or part of what you hear is not true, do yourself a favor and keep quiet; because if you say more than what you need to say, you actually dig yourself into a deeper hole than what you can get out of. The dirt from the hole you dug can fill that hole in faster than you think.

Wow that sounds awful. You’re lucky that (from what it sounds like) you were in a good school. I was a casualty of quite a few false defamatory rumors (one being similar to yours) in middle school and High School but the schools (I transferred multiple times) all did nothing…… Got to love your DCPS who don’t have a bad reputation at all 🙄🙄🙄

This story reminds me about my own high school days when the rumors were spread about me having babies with 2 guys! Even the teachers believed the lies too & I was harrassed alot & almost didn't graduate! It still haunts me today- 50? yrs later! I cry when I think about it!

I wish I had teachers and principals who cared like this when I was in high school. I got bullied really bad and they would just brush it off and say “there is nothing you can do about it.” Being a principal or a teacher is not just being in charge or teaching, it’s about protecting and advocating for students.

I went through the same thing when I was in grade 4. I got picked on in front of my teacher, he didn’t bat an eye, he just looked away and continued teaching the class… I didn’t bother telling anyone because I didn’t think anyone would help. But that is not true-people would actually believe rumors others would spread about me, even ones that were not true. This is what I did. My friend since elementary.. we both liked the same girl (we’re both bi) and I found out that crush was interested in my bestie and my bestie was getting close to her as she’s helping me get together with said crush. I got jealous and wanted to confront her about it and was feeling lost on what to do and say so I got help from seniors and classmates, everything I said.. word by word got spread and mistranslated and bestie found out she was mad. This continued for a few months and we’re both misunderstood the entire time without realising it. Then, she confronted me on chat saying a lot of things that hurts me but it’s true I sort of started those “rumours”( not sure if it’s rumour /misunderstanding) and we both broke off our friendship. With that, I’ve also broke the friendgroup apart for a while but they were happier now without me (except a few that still talks to me) you see I learnt it the hard way and with the cost of my friendship. I made a big mistake that still hurts me til this day and it can’t be undone. That bestie had moved away … I missed those chats and laughs we share and will keep them alive through memories. Moving forward I do my best to not repeat my mistakes and be a better person. Kri if you’re reading this, or ever find this UKposts video just know I missed you and am forever sorry for hurting you. gosh this hits so close to home. I had a best friend of many years who suddenly turned into a frenemy and went around saying lies and bad stuff about me by exaggerating my personal problems. I felt so isolated and upset because of that. When I confronted her she said "you're being too sensitive" and "I'm saying it like it is". I was so done with her that I stopped contact. She still kept spreading lies and making me look bad in front of other friends. She then pretended to be concerned and helpful in front of others like as if I was being weird and dramatic for wanting her stop meddling in my life. Even till this date she never apologized. I feel really angry and upset at how her trashy actions affected me negatively and how she acts all innocent with everyone.
