For those who aren't French-speaking I leave you Gjon's tears' explanations about the meaning of this song that he developed in an interview on Swiss TV channel RTS1. This is a song in which he wanted to make each one think about the mystery of life (why are we here? what's our main purpose on Earth exactly? How can we live happily? etc.). The title of the song "Répondez-moi" means "Answer me" literally. It refers to all those facing the complexity of human life who are in a profound search of significance & seek answers to their numerous questions desperatly. Gjon's tears wanted people who have deep existential thoughts permanently to have a reflection of themselves in such an event like Eurovision where fun & shallowness are the basics. But the young singer added that the words of this song also tell people to focus on present time when everything can be created. As U can see this song has a strong potential through its lyrics as well.
