I know you won’t see this comment, but as a person who was diagnosed with fibromyalgia when I was twelve and PTSD when I was 14, hearing about your journey and recovery has given me a lot of hope. The strain that chronic pain and ptsd puts on a person is brutal, and it makes every day a challenge. But I’m happy you’re getting through it, it makes me feel like I can too

I absolutely understand where Mykie is coming from because 4 years ago I went through a drug trial to change my meds and it went to shit. At one point I was constantly sick I had all the symptoms of the Flu Except for the main part the fever. So I went to the hospital a couple of times and MANY doctors (and a but tone of tests) turns out I was depressed. Mum and I were very confused about how my mental health affected my physical health . And I’m still dealing with the remnants to this day. TLDR Mental health has a larger impact on your physical health than you realise.

As someone who is chronically ill+ disabled with ZERO clue what's actually wrong, I fully felt this

Can we all take a moment to appreciate how incredible Anthony is.. carers fatigue is so incredibly real and to watch someone you care about go through this would have been gut wrenching

The physiological impacts of stress are so huge it's astounding. I also think addressing the cause of that stress on this platform would be very helpful for you and for those affected.

Fellow POTs/hEDS/6 million other issues person here, and I'm so glad you've gotten answers and are making progress. Finding answers is the hardest part for sure, and its also the hardest part to explain to healthy people which in turn is very mentally draining. There will be bad days, there will be good days, but you've got this!

The last time I watched Mykie, I was in the worst place I’ve ever been. My mental health was horrible and I was in an extremely abusive relationship. The joy I have to see new Mykie content when I’m happy and in a healthy relationship is overwhelming. Life is good

As someone dealing with chronic pain I would really love a sit down with more detail on what you did and what really helped you get better. I do strongly believe the mind and body are strongly connected. I know what works for one person may not work for another. But, the more we share and learn could really help one another

It’s actually kinda nice in a “hey someone else is like me” way to see someone as larger than life as Mykie with so many of the same diagnoses as me because I’ve been dealing with those diagnoses since I was 12, so almost 10 whole years. Like, right down to the allergy test showing up with everything because of the urticaria. I have idiopathic angioedema and urticaria so a little different, but it’s well managed at this point.

in a lot of ways i feel like mykie and her videos raised me, and to find out that she has a lot of the same illnesses i struggled to get a diagnosis for is so comforting

You will never see this..I had been dealing with a severe pain in my spine for 3 years straight with about 9 or 10 different doctors myself..randomly last month while adjusting my back while laying down like every night, my lower spine popped and the pain randomly stopped..ended up that my pelvis was basically overlapping..not a single doctor saw it even with 2 mri scans..chronic pain is the most exhausting, scary, so many adjectives..as a mom not being present as a mom is soul crushing..anyways I feel you more than I could describe..so glad you are better too..

I have some of the same diagnoses and some others and I completely get how hard it is when your body just decides to stop working and nobody seems to know what's going on and some won't even try because you're young. Spooky season isn’t spooky season without Mykie! So happy to see you’re back and feeling better! You were missed! Can I just say (haven't finished the whole video yet, I'm just responded to the part about being diagnosed with PTSD); especially if it was not something that's been debilitating for you before. My friend got married a few years ago and about a few months into her marriage, her husband suddenly started exhibiting symptoms of and was later diagnosed with severe depression. The reason they explained for why it hadn't affected him before was that he'd only just then finally reached a point in his life where he felt totally safe with his partner, so his mind deemed it safe enough to unpack and experience a lot of the things he'd been suppressing. You and Anthony are one of my favorite real-life ships because of how you explained your relationship before dating and the amount of trust and understanding you have for each other. My uneducated and unsolicited suggestion is that your brain registered a feeling of complete security and felt safe enough to unpack a lot of the things you've been carrying? Just a random thought 🤷🏻‍♀️ So glad you're back tho Mykie!!! I can't tell you how many times I'd go back to check if you'd returned and binge watch all your videos again when i saw you hadn't :)

It's so inspiring to hear that you worked through this ordeal. I've been seeking help for my issues since 2017. Passed around from doctor to doctor and we're still stumped. The closest diagnosis was Fibromyalgia, but there's other things that negate that. Chronic pain and mental health issues are the most prominent issues. It's been so debilitating, so hearing that you made it out the other side, gives me hope. So glad you're better, and working through this. 💜

I could have made this video about myself! I know EXACTLY what you’re going through/went through! I felt a million different symptoms and my body got stuck in fight or flight mode, which in turn triggered a whole new set of problems. I learned more about the mind/body connection than I ever even realized, and how deeply they were connected. Most, if not all of my symptoms were entirely anxiety related. It’s Truly amazing and terrifying how anxiety can cause literally any symptoms. It is a relief to hear that other people experience the same types of things, but I’m so glad you’re doing so much better! I missed you!
