9 lbs of cheese!! Insane. It’s so satisfying when you can just scoop the bees up and they attach to each other looking like they are being poured out. I don’t think I’ll ever get over Feral’s hairdo 😂❤️

That wheel of cheese looks amazing! I feel like you're pretty brave dealing with the bees! Nefarious and Feral were quite curious about the bees on their fence hahaha. So glad you were able to successfully catch the swarm, and I hope the beekeeper fellow gives them a good home. Super excited to see the garden tour coming soon! 💚💚

I slept really well last night. the spot is tender from the sting, there is a big red welt there probably the size and shape of an avocado but not as fat. It probably sticks out a quarter inch. It's mildly itchy at this point.

Great video!! Your cheese wheel looked amazing!! It seems to be a Lamancha characteristic to produce more cream than some other breeds. I have numerous Lamancha does that will produce quite a thick layer of cream that rises to the top of their milk. A very nice perk!! God bless!

Oh wow! I had a swarm at my old homestead. I didn't know it could be so easy to catch them. They also swarmed near my buck pen, so it makes me wonder if they are attracted to thei buck's scent?

A Major League Baseball game was delayed 2 hours yesterday because of a swarm on the backstop. They used this neat looking swarm vacuum to remove it!

Hi Heather. I don't like bees because, about 8 year's ago I was living in Arizona and I got attacked by African killer bees. They went after my face. Have a great day.

So scary. I am so sorry that was probably very traumatic!! Thankfully we do not have Africanized bees in southwestern KY. I would not keep bees if we did!

WOW! That is one big wheel of cheese! And so cool that your colonies are so strong to swarm again. Those must be fantastic genetics! I hope you're able to get them transferred over into the long hives and harvest a perfect amount of honey either this year or definitely the next. Really enjoyed hearing the queen piping! It counds similar to what they do inside the queen cells, but a little deeper? And my goodness, the color of your daughter's leggings looked almost skin-colored - I had a moment of "ohmygosh, put on longer shorts because Mom's filming!" LOL Then I saw they were leggings and had to laugh at myself for being so silly!

I had an oh my then too! I thought she's brave to be watching mom bee keep in those shorts! 😂 then I realized they were leggings and the wrinkles around her knees reminded me of good dairy skin... 😂 I'm definitely a goat shepherdess!

The leggings are retired now LOL!! In person they are a brighter type orange, but the camera mellows it out. In a bad way in this case!
