FILM DESCRIPTION:
Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home. Along for the ride is Jia, an orphaned girl who has a unique and powerful bond with the mighty beast. However, they soon find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla as he cuts a swath of destruction across the globe. Kong didn't exactly have the luxury of choice when it came down to a fight in the middle of the ocean in which that is Godzilla's natural element of surprise so Kong was either gonna fight or die / drown (which Godzilla almost did succeed in doing since he knew monkeys can't breath underwater). You could play that battle on a hundred times over and 100 times out of 100 if not even beyond that Godzilla is going to win either way. Kong only survived because he had the humans on his side to help distract Godzilla

Note: At 1:05, we see a cruiser that has significant damage to its deck amidships, but is still operational and far from split in half. I assume Kong jumped on it, but I expected a lot more damage from that. Is there something else that could have damaged it?

@@SpyderENT Legendary recently released a teaser which appears to show a new member of Kong's species with reddish fur, shorter hair longer arms and glowing blue eyes, who also appears to be wearing war paint or blood on his face. The teaser shows him surrounded by the bones of other monsters, so it's likely that he will be the villain (or at least one of the villains) of the next movie.

No, he was shown to be annoyed by missiles. In fact, he didn't really get hurt by the missiles, just annoyed. He wasn't nerfed at all, he was buffed. Kong also got a massive buff, but let's not talk about that.

Kong is nearly on par with Godzilla in terms of physical strength. By 2024, he possesses the strength to take on Titans as powerful as Godzilla.

In an exchange of blows between himself and Kong, Godzilla was shown to be able to overbalance Kong and leave him dazed long enough that Kong required assistance from the navy and jets to distract Godzilla from charging his atomic breath. He could also swing and toss Kong several hundred feet away and smash through buildings easily, with the force of said swing being sufficient to wrench Kong's arm out of socket. The events of the film also showcased the full extent of how violent this incarnation could be, as well as a more feral side such as walking on all-fours at one point. During his first fight with Kong, a single swipe of Godzilla's claws was sufficient to knock him off his feet. In their rematch in Hong Kong, Godzilla tackled Kong into the nearby harbor. The extent of Godzilla's savagery is shown when he bit down on Kong's hand and threw him across the city, dislocating his shoulder in the process. Godzilla also once again displayed considerable speed and agility for his size, angrily charging toward the injured Kong, knocking him down with his tail, crawling towards him on all fours, and leaping onto him before lacerating and stomping on his chest.

@@aeso3555 Kong almost died towards a Warbats, do you think Kong has a chance against Godzilla? Godzilla is millions of years old (Only in the MonsterVerse), Godzilla knows how to fight a Kong. Godzilla is fighting stronger, Titan's than Kong for thousands of years if not then millions of years. Godzilla won and Kong lose because Kong has no experience, Kong almost died in their first fight at the Tasman Sea of it's not for humans then Kong will be dead even if Kong wins, Kong will still died.
