János Skublics I agree that you could argue for most of the songs on the album being the ‘heaviest’ but in terms of sheer brutality, when the ‘For God’s sake...’ part comes in on this song, that tops the others for me. Too massive!

Every song is very heavy, but i consider Where Dragons Dwell as the heaviest, the riffs just sound fucking evil in that song

I was very depressed beforehand and still coping with my divorce trying to adjust to living alone etc and this video was extremely powerful and cathartic to say the least. I saw myself as the man trapped in the small room wallowing in his misery like I had been in my own apartment for weeks, feeling like I was watching my past two months on replay. Then his screaming was like my own subconscious screaming at me to get me up and get out of the rut I’d laid myself in. Something I thought of while watching the video that I wrote in my trip journal “we put ourselves in boxes”. The sad thing was that the man, unlike the animals had hands and everything that he needed to open the door to escape the box he was in, but he failed to utilize them for whatever reason so he remained there, trapped in his box. The next thing I wrote down was “Sometimes we’re the jailer locking ourselves in the cell of our own misery and we’re too preoccupied with wishing things we’re different and resisting what is to see that we’re the ones holding the keys for our release.” Doesn’t have much to to with the lyrics, and I was tripping pretty hard when I thought of it, but it’s been a thought that’s since helped me pull myself out of bed and to get me out of my box at times when I really didn’t feel like there was a reason to. Crazy what a little psilocybin and art can do sometimes man…

yep, and if it were as good as another world ... i'm so hyped for gojira's next stuff. joe grew a lot since the FMTS days, his voice improved a lot with Magma, and another world really shows that. can't wait to see what they can come up with next, i expect a lot of pick scraping and whale sounds.
