I don’t trust this guy anymore. Not after that article and the way he dodged answering Katie’s questions regarding the woman he lived with. He’s not as “perfect” as he seems.

Gerry would have made a great politician. Great at making you believe he actually cares and just as great at evading the tough questions.

She seems very sincere. Listening to her, I hear her vulnerability and sweetness. I hope she is not too hurt by him.

I finally can stop watching these video's. Katie finally asked the hard and unpleasant questions. And he evaded everything. And given the chance to express any regret it came out No. Despite all the crying on the show. Final opinion... Narcissist that will never regret anyrhing.

You don’t deflect from the truth Gary. And there’s little Teresa just sitting there looking up lovingly at her fiancé. I could gag.

Katie, I hope you get to interview the 3 year live-in girlfriend that Gerry didn't want us to find out about. He totally evaded that ?--he is slick. Theresa seems so nice but I hope she isn't naive--a prenup would be a must if this were me--the other gals dodged a bullet I think!!

Did you notice Theresa's eyes expression and hear her Hmm when Gerry said he got to do things and go on dates he could Never afford on his own. I've suspected since she revealed her career success that he'd be attracted to her financial security. Not only women are concerned about finances as we get into those years. Why truthfully is there a rush to marriage? And why is marriage necessary at all. They're in their 70s and why mess with their kids' and grandkids' inheritance. I don't wear rose colored glasses like I used to. You don't have to marry to live together, go on adventures and have a good life together. Hopefully they'd keep their assets separate and legally well protected. My dad and stepmom made sure the other would Not benefit from the other's death and each set of kids would be the only beneficiaries. Just because he has that lakehouse doesn't mean he's financially sound. Anyway, it's their party. Not mine.

How many other people has he told he loves than kicked them to the curb? Why do men do this? He chose her because he can totally manipulate her and she will go NOWHERE!

She didn't want to embarrass the men in her family yet she arrives in a nude dress pretending to be nude and grabs the mans face and plants a kiss on him. And she tells everyone on live tv she knocked his boots off in the fantasy suite, bragging she had sex with with Garry. I don't think she was so shy and worried and she claimed. Sorry but for me she always came on too strongly.

Oooh, I hope they do a reunion show with all the ladies. The commraderie between them and their humor is what made them so endearing. Network needs to pay attention, were not interested in the drama and catfighting!

Getting married so quickly "because of their age" doesn't make sense to me. I can understand them wanting to be together (and actually getting to know each other). But... the only thing marriage will do is bind them legally and financially. Time will tell...

Glitz & Glamour now. Love is blind. He is a manipulator. She will be like a puppy dog and do whatever he wants. He lights up at the $$$, etc. when mentioned on the show and her investments. In the end when the glamour is all over and hits her how he really is it will be over.

His eyes. Are. Psycho eyes 👀. This guy gives me the absolute creeps!!!!! His movements are so 🤖 robotic. He is robotic. Is he a robot? Something about this guy screams "you better keep my house perfectly clean and have dinner on the table by 7." And omg. "I would package 📦 it all up and move on to the next." Gerry, you realize you're talking about real human beings with beating hearts right?

I think it was telling at the end when he was giving his dating "advice": "Be confident, feel like you have worth". I think that's exactly why he didn't pick Leslie. The way she was portrayed, at least, was that she's very insecure and feels like she's never the one who's chosen....plus everyone cheats on her. I really don't think I'd be sharing all that. Saw a Dateline about Dirty John, can’t help but thinking this guy is Dirty Gerry. Run Theresa or at least get an iron-clad prenup.

From the moment I watched these two on their first date, I felt that Theresa was the one for Gerry. I was rooting for them the whole time. So happy he chose her. She is gracious, intelligent, and serene. I think he felt serenity with her.

He is a sociopath in my opinion. He completely skirted the question about the relationship with the woman for a couple of years; he excuses how he led on and misled Leslie and Faith with utter b.s. about compartmentalizing. Didn't he know that telling Faith he was in love with her in front of her family would give her the impression that he was going to pick her? And didn't he know that telling Leslie he thinks she is the one he can't live without and that he loved her that that would give her the impression that she was the one? He is full of it. Deceptive, narcissistic and a liar. Good for Leslie for calling it like it is, but she didn't come down hard enough on him. It's the bachelor show it's not the torture show.

I think I lost respect for Garry when I heard the story re the girlfriend who lived with him, and he kicked her out and wouldn’t take her to his grad because she gained 10 lbs. of a pretty story. He couldn’t tell the truth when Katie asked him. Sorry he lost me.

This is the best season of the bachelor I've ever seen. There isn't a season I've missed. Don't know if it's because I'm a 70yr older widow or what but they need more like this season!! What they said at the ATFR, they've only been chatting by phone and not meeting up in person. Teresa is in for a shock. I've done exactly what she's doing - superimposing what she believes Gerry to be based up her wonderful past and assuming he is just like her - I bet she is going to discover she assumed things about Gerry that just aren't there

I know he got caught up with it all but he did say some things to Leslie that really led her on. It’s no wonder she was blindsided! I hope she will be the golden bachelorette, she is absolutely beautiful and will find a mate.

I am so glad he picked Theresa. I have to say she was not my first choice but as the show went on I got to see that she was genuinely nice. Gary did a good job picking her. I think he could have found love in his own community in Indiana, and Theresa too! Now they are moving away from the life they have known for so many years, leaving grandkids and family, and I find that really sad. I wish them nothing but happiness. I hope a show will develop where potential candidates looking for love "in their own towns" will develop from this....maybe call it Community Love!

I saw the way his eyes lit up when Therese, told him about her career. Gerry, doesn't love either one of those ladies. He's too self absorbed, not to mention cruel, and a pathological liar. Now, how can Gerry, be this nice golden bachelor? I always knew he was putting on a facade,because he was so transparent. Anyway, I wouldn't trust him as far as I can throw him. Great interview! All the right questions everyone wanted to know! Maybe not the answers we were all hoping for but in all honesty those answers were actually what we were all expecting! They are the perfect couple for each other. Theresa is infatuated with him and enjoys/ believes all his stories.

I just had a complete turn around about Theresa. I like them both…yea, yea, he may have had a few missteps but geez he’s on live tv, age 72, and being swarmed by fabulous women. I can’t speak for the financial part, and actually none of us really can, but I’m assuming he’s not broke or they wouldn’t have cast him, and she’s smart enough to protect herself. What is more cringeworthy than watching a 70 something man telling so many lies in what feels like an icky, snakey way to evade accountability for various actions and misrepresentations?
