I have both phones and personally feel that the 4a5g takes much better pictures. Everything looks a bit off in the 6a pictures in regards to colors being true to life.

If I'm going to use the camera2 api on a third party app like Open Camera on Pixel 4a and Pixel 2 since they have the same sensor, would that have changes or difference,?

I've got both phones. Just upgraded from the Pixel 4a 5G. I did some camera comparisons myself and on my 4a 5G, my pics turned out warmer than on the 6a. My 6a tends to skew cooler with less saturation. I seem to be having a little trouble capturing as nice of pictures on the 6a. I got perfect "point and shoot" pictures just about every time on my 4a 5G. Not quite sure what to think yet. I've only been using my 6a for about two weeks.

@@shashank7259 my 4a 5G had excellent video. At least for what I used it for which was mainly recording my toddler playing. I'd recommend looking up some video samples on here, just so you can see.

@@wraths3861 I'd say once the 6a's adaptive battery learned my usage, they were pretty close with the 4a 5G being slightly better. However, once I got Android 14, battery life has been crazy good. I get to bed most nights and will still have like 40% left. That's after about 14 hours of normal usage. Nothing too heavy, but I always make it a whole day with some battery to spare.

I'm using the pixel 6a as my main device right now and you get used to its differences and it's a lot nicer to hold but yeah I miss the rounded corners and the slightly wider display

Please take note that 4a 5G Battery G025E-B is the correct model, but not G025A-B (they marked as 5XL which is not exist).

As for myself, the screen is too weak and I don't want to keep it in my pocket anymore. But the camera, headphone jack, and high end processor I cannot sacrifice.

I think the same apply for pixel 6 as compared to 6a , only difference will be in low light senarios where 6 would probably grabe more light due to big sensor . In terms of camera any pixel wouldn't disappoint you right

LoL they use the same Sensors :) I love my Pixel 4a as the last phone with single cameras. I don't see the point of having more bad cameras that no one will use.

The iPhone video is a higher bitrate which means more information is captured. Also the iPhone has built in optical stabilization of the sensor and the lens. The pixel only stabilises the lens. Overall the pixel video is very grainy and flat, doesn't have much depth and is heavily post processed with over sharpening. The iPhone is more natural and looks closer to mirror-less camera footage.
