I bought pixel 8 pro the day it came out but I will pick it up in 2 weeks from my friend in London (Google doesn't ship to Poland). I Love the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, the photo editing capability is amazing. I Love the New camera bar and the 3 in 1 Camera cut out is amazing!!. Also the thermometer is fantastic and use it all the time please keep!!. I find the fact that Google has kept the physical sim card slot is just great, this means the phone can reach a wider audience!!, which it would reach if it was Esim only please keep!!

Pretty great explained features! Did you know that if you have your screen on (lock screen or main screen) and if you double tap on the temperature sensor, you will power on your flashlight? I think that's the one you're missing! And not sure if there are any other shortcuts like that one!

I've had my Pixel 8 Pro phone for about 2 weeks now and still learning all these tricks! Thank you for explaining and showing me how to really customer wallpaper, photos, etc. and I have a lot to learn in time for my next vacation! However, after re-watching your video again, I've found that when I hold the side (power and lock) button down, it doesn't bring up Google AI for me to Summarize a webpage. Instead, I have to say "Hey Google" and then I can click on the Summarize button. Yes, I'm in the U.S. so I think my Mobile Provider may have something to do with this? Instead of the AI, I get the options to either Power Off, Restart, or tap Emergency to call 9-1-1. The other "tricks" are fantastic, as I've already done the Face Lock/Unlock, and the Camera Pro settings. In fact, I purchased this phone mainly for the Camera and Video features for my future travels now that I'm retired!

You might want to pause on the Pro and get the non pro. I have the Pro and find its too heavy and bulky. The features are nice but but the 8 non pro is the more comfortable phone. Have a 8 and a 8 Pro. Really the 8 pro only advantage is the zoom lens + Temp sensor but the size and weight sort of erase that advantage. They should have made the 8 and the 8 pro the same phones differing only in battery size and screen size. Then I would get the 8 non pro every time. I like the 8 pro features not the heft.

@@rossomagic Yea I have the 8 Pro and still don't like the size and weight, my kid got the non pro. I did it for a 5x camera lens which I'm not sure was worth it. Could they have made the non pro have that lens? OMG Yes it was a company decision not a engineers. Shame on Google for that. They have to get their mind right next year or im jumping ship from pixel phones.

For Galaxy I'd recommend Good Lock from the galaxy store and take advantage of routines😎 for routines one I can highly recommend is auto rotate to enable only when you open apps like UKposts, twitch, media apps etc😁

Wow! What an amazing video from a very smart and pretty girl! I only recently got my Pixel 8, a phone I knew was a lot smarter than me, but I had no idea how much smarter until I watched this video. I wondered if the camera came with a timer and just discovered that it does. Now I need to watch this video over and over again to learn all the other amazing features. I'm thinking about switching to a Pixel 8 from an iPhone 13 Pro. Can the Pixel auto read notifications in Android Auto? Siri does this so well, for supported apps, with CarPlay and AirPods.

Question. Does anyone have a clicking sound on their pixel 8 pro while you shake it left and right?? I did drop mine with the a case and the phone did look and function fine but when i took it out the case and shaked it left and right i could hear a bit of light clicking sound around where the camera is. I dont know if it always have that even before i dropped it with the case or its originally supposed to have that? Thanks for the great review!😊

One thing I cannot seem to make work on the google pixel 8 pro keyboard , it does not seem to have the track pad function if you want to position the cursor several lines up or down a piece of text like you can with a galaxy or an iPhone , yes you can remove your finger off the screen and tap on the text in the position you want , but sometimes that track pad text feature is very nice to have especially if you have big clunky fingers. I had a look in the settings , but cant see an option to activate this basic feature that other phones have ...... unless I missed something ? This annoys me so much I would consider changing keyboard if I knew of a good android keyboard. Any suggestions ?

Thanks for the great video. Just one comment on 9:42. Face unlock was introduced in Android 9. I've been using it for years on my OnePlus phone (which was discontinued in 2017). My phone has an ancient selfie camera and face unlock works really well. I'm not sure why so many reviewers are making a big deal of face unlock in 2023?

I have the Pixel 8 Pro 512 Gb and wish that you could add a calendar along with the time to the lock screen like you can with Samsung. Also, that it wouldn't just randomly start getting hot when it isn't even on a charger.
