Here in Australia the new GoPro HERO10 Special Bundle is AU$150 less than the shelf-price of the HERO10 camera alone in stores (with an active subscription). In this video I cover the Aussie pricing/bundle options at the time of launch, the unboxing of the Special Bundle, and give my take on the 'Horizon Lock' feature.

In other unboxings the sdcard has been on a piece of backing card in the mesh pocket. You've been done! Oh, and GoPro bring back the Session 10 with updated tech and Hypersmooth4.0!!

Mine comes tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get some stick time with it before I leave for Sea Otter Classic in Oct. Hoping for good weather so I can record some of the 30 mile gravel ride. I'll try to get some video of the booths as well as some spectator video of the racing if time allows. I will also ride the 17 mile scenic ride in Monterey if the weather is decent. And I'm with you on the Session. It was just so simple to use. I might still break it out for giggles from time to time, but it definitely could use an update.

I picked up a bundle the other night. I’m a bit shattered I didn’t see your video first, and save another $30! 😅 But I’m happy. The biggest oversight is the lack of Velcro dividers in the travel case. What’s that about? I’ll let you know if my SD card comes.

I had the original GoPro. Lasted forever. Replaced by Session which crapped out after two years. (Charge port failed) Have been waiting for 10.

For US, as a subscriber I was going to pay 399. 99 for the camera alone then clicked on the bundle just to check out the price and couldnt believe it was also 399. 99 so you basically get the 3 accesories completely free. I would hate to find out after buying just the camera jaja

My memory card wasnt in the case either it was in the box the camera box came in, almost thrown out before checking. Not that i use 32gb cards. I had the subscription from last year and the price in the uk is £379 without bundle, £379 with bundle makes sense to get the free battery and charger etc

that same thing happened when I ordered my H10. No SD card. I did not follow up because I was going to replace it with a larger capacity card anyway

Does this only happen with the Australian price? For the American price if you already have a subscription will you pay the same price for the bundle and camera as you would if you just bought camera ?

Example would be: workout 1, recovery ride, workout 2, Day off, race, workout3, day off, .... i really don't know how to maximize the event without over training or under training. Thanks again.

@@OutdoorsJustin Max 1-2 intense workouts per week, at least 3 days of rest/recovery/endurance in-between sessions. Only go for it when you feel rested. This way you won't over train and get the most benefit.

the sd card is outside the box, it's inside the transparent plastic bag where you take out the gopro from.

Nabbed that bundle for NZD$699 a couple of days ago too. Appears to have been a mistake (or a very limited offer) because today they have the camera for $699 and the bundle for $799.

Hi my sd card was attached to the plastic bag the hero pack was in. It’s not in a retail pack so hard to spot. I contacted gopro and found it there

Hi...tx for the video..quite informative. I have a query....I've got a gopro hero 7 and I want to upgrade when the possible new one comes in...not theo hero 10 (provided the sub offer stays). If i subscribe then....do I get the camera replacement option and some value for my hero 7. Very curious. Thanks

It is the same deal in the UK with the same price for the bundle edition as camera only for subscribers so went for the bundle (of course!). I did notice the SD card was added as a separate no charge line item on my order and not part of the bundle per se. Maybe it will turn up separately.

I'm not a good sales guy.... I use mine for rides, as a dashcam (for Lama Drives too), and as a backup camera when I'm recording other things in the Lama Lab. To be honest, an iPhone is likely a suitable option for most tasks that don't involve risky situations (drops, water, etc).
