That or the Mystery of "Turkey Creek." The part of the Ozarks where there is literally a square fenced in part of the Mark Twain National forest about 100,000 feet squared. That's literally right out in the middle of the forest and park. Why build a squared, fenced-in area out in the very middle of the Ozarks and woods. Crazier even? There are giant cave openings and systems that come out and go into the Earth all throughout this fenced-in area. Even nuttier? The place didn't become fenced in until 3 guys went hunting back in the day inside this vicinity, and they encountered a flying humanoid cryptid creature that had the kind of motives that were not good. The thing was trying to basically eat these guys. I also know a guy who's been a friend of the family for going on 4 decades now. Used to go hunting and exploring in all the Ozarks just treasure hunting with metal detectors, as well as Arrowhead and native American artifact seeking. Told my Grandpa and Dad before he told me the same thing. He encountered an 8-10 foot tall Wolf headed bipedal like creature down in Southern Missouri about 30-35 minutes drive Northwest of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Out into the woods and Mark Twain National Forest. Said that the thing cleared a 15-20 foot ravine in a single hop or step after it started moving. The thing didn't just run away from Bruce either after they had noticed each other. This f***ing thing circled back around behind him. It was almost undoubtedly trying to get him or figure him out at least. Thing stunk to high heaven Bruce has always said. Bruce still hasn't gone back into the Ozarks' rural areas since this happened, and this happened way the hell back when I was like 5-6 years old in like 1988-1989. So, like my father has always said? Then my grandfather had said before he left this world? Bruce has never, will never, and had never been known to be a liar about anything in this life at all whatsoever. Almost honest to a fault if you will. Guy is kind of blatantly inappropriate in some of the things he will be openly speaking or involved in. Doesn't care about the judgment of others. That's why I know for a fact that this guy has always been honest about what he saw that day. The Ozarks are a weird place. That's a fact. They also have 1 bank for every 13 residents throughout the entire Ozarks region. Which is really unusual. For comparison? New York City has 1 bank for like every 120 people. Lots of banks in really small towns with minimally populated surroundings. Also? Lots of rich people who are famous, or part of unusual, and secretive groups or organizations have been building big ass properties and buying up lots of the land down along the lakes like Table Rock, and the main lake of the Ozarks. These are people with no kind of family history or connections to the central and Southern regions of Missouri. So, this has most of us begging the question; Why?

I experienced a series of those calls/shriek/howls up close, Until then I never knew how frightening sound alone could be. I never saw the Sound Machine, but saw another one in the next field at that time. Have you heard a recording that sounds like the sounds you’ve heard?

I live in the twin pikes. Not far from where momo story came from. Was working in la a couple yrs ago and experienced that smell they talk bout and what sounded like a good size branch or tree getting snapped. (there was nobody in area where it was coming from.) And couple days later the company I worked for took a bulldozer and destroyed the area of creek where the sound and smell came from

And that's not mentioning what's been seen and heard in the southern part of the Illinois side of the pikes

I saw them 4 times in a 2-1/2 year period in SW MO. It’s been approx 8 yrs since the last. Yeah, people don’t want to believe, accept or understand - that’s the sad reality.

I'm not making light of what you have seen and do not doubt your experience, but I read it like you've seen creatures actually driving the 18 wheeler themselves. I was thinking, "I don't think I could come back from that. NOBODY would believe me." Then I realized, I'm kind of a dummy. 🤦

Yes there is big cats. I stupidly went to look for my bros goats. It was like 1130 at night I'm on my neighbor's property praying he didn't shoot me(he was insane he fried his brain). All I had was a flash light and phone. I thought it was deer following me in the woods. I see eyes and brown fur. My nephew said deer won't follow you they'll run away. I doubled back to go get the four wheeler. That's when I found a goat.I felt my heart stop. It was tore apart. I had just walked through that area before I seen the "deer". I'm convinced it was a big cat, because I hadn't heard any coyotes for a while. We also have bears. There's one that's been seen several times by Stockton lake.

Most wildlife officials in Ohio are completely wrong. They say water moccasins don’t live this far north but I have photo and video of one in Austintown ohio

There WAS blue people based on genetic mutation from incestuous relations. However, due to modern medicine they found out how to turn them per se, normal. The last child that was even closely related to blue was I think a baby around the 1900s that was born purple and later normalized. It was basically a curse of living in a small town in the mountains away from civilization.

I'm also from the Ozarks as well and there's a book called "Weird Missouri" by Jeff Morrison(?) or Moran and it explains about the Ozark Howler. I read the book ages ago and if I remember correctly, the Ozark Howler is supposed to be this ghost cat or something that howls, but I think it's been proven that it's either a bobcat or maybe a cougar.

@missouriprideusa6241 Thanks for the recommendation. I have heard a wildcat in the wilderness before. It was an especially chilling sound since it woke my dog and I up. My 50-pound dog crawled into my lap after I started the fire again. Did not return to sleep until the sun came up.

That is a believable story. Why because she mentions they carried away the whole stalks and that is what s most practical. Now if a normal person stole corn they would tear off ears after checking them as we don't eat the stalk plus the ear is all we use. Our cousins the wood boogers probably can smell the ripe corn plus eat the entire stalk being able to digest way more efficiently then us. I have heard the same from others.

Oh, yes, the smell...it's a combination of garbage, raw sewage, and wet dog. I was always told to go inside if we smelled it. You can hear it more than you see it. Permit me to sound like a lunatic for a minute, but I think there's something about the fire at the end of what you're smoking that keeps it...them?...at a distance. The only times we ever saw anything, neither of us had a cigarette. The husband was never really into the woodsy superstitions until he got the full experience coming home after dark one night. I was late getting the garbage out one night, so about halfway there I got paranoid all of a sudden. I start looking around and that's when the smell hits real strong. Well, I saw it. It sat up looked right at me, I looked right at it and just backed up all the way back into the house. The trash didn't make it home that night. Those were the only times it had any semblance to something corporeal. I wish I could explain how it looked. It vaguely resembled a spitz breed rear end with something that resembles the dover demon drawings at the front...sort of. It was there but it wasn't. There's a story called the damned thing. There's something there. You can hear, smell, and feel it. It's right in front of you, but you just can't see it.

I've driven through some pretty territory in the Ozarks. As a semi truck driver I drove through some really rough rains there. The rains come down so hard in places there that the on-coming cars can't be seen until they poke through the wall of rain! I've driven through some really bad storms but the Ozarks is the only place in the USA where the rain falls so heavily at times that it appears as a wall of rain that you can see at a short distance and watch it come to you! It's really cool to see that. Kinda spooky too cuz you can't tell if there's anything coming at you until the headlights are almost poking through the wall of rain. It's freaky.

I grew up just south of there. Then lived in Greenland for 27 yrs. Sun sets early there. I found evidence of ancient civilization near the park. It is a strange place. A girl from KC did disappeared in the late 40s., but was found and spoke of help.

​@@shuckyducky-lu8nc no it wasn't from inbreeding, I can't remember exactly, but I kinda recollect that it was due to either too much eating of a type vegetation and it colored their skin blue, not dark blue, but like cold water bath blue. A lack of or too much of a vitamin, something like that. And a possible genetic disorder, rare, hell it may have been both.
