I won't forget this song. The moment I received an email that I was due for interview for my scholarship to study in Japan, this song started playing on my headphones. I made it past the interview and also got accepted at one of Japan's top Uni. In a few months I'm leaving for Japan to study for 4 years. It was like a premonition on that day because out of the 1000 plus shuffled songs that are in my apple music l don’t know why this one played at that exact moment. I can't get over until now.

When i decided to rewatch weathering with you, I noticed something that hit me hard, harder than the first time I watched it. When the main protagonist experienced rain in the city. That got me thinking, rain can sometimes symbolize your problems, your sufferings, and your despair. We are constantly being bombarded by these emotions almost everyday. There isn't a day that we don't experience even a little bit of these emotions. And in context of the movie, Hina was always the one who can always stop them for a brief moment in time. In life, there is always that special someone who will give you happiness amongst the sadness, light amongst the darkness, and sunshine amongst the rain.

Just finished watching this movie, and I have to say. This is seriously bringing tears to my eyes, just like the amount of rain this movie has produced. I'm glad I watched this movie.

unpopular opinion: weathering with you is the best out of your name, suzume, and garden of words. it has the best vibes for me, raining the entire time, and its main to characters are the best amungst any of these, with garden of words feeling a bit too short, suzumes main duo feeling kinda weird as one character is so much older, and your names duo being slightly under developed and their relationship being less fleshed out. weathering with you really focuses on not the supernatural things, but on the relationship between the main characters, and how much/ why they care for each other so. the last stretch where the mc desperately longs for the girl gets me every time

I remember the day I went on a date with a girl to watch this film. I had planned out to confess during the film, but did not know when it would be the correct moment. Well, just at the end of the film, when there was that nostalgic music, I said, "there's something more". She answers with "what" and I said I liked her. She said she liked me back :). It was literally the best moment to say it. I found it really romantic and will never forget it. Sadly, we're not together anymore because of covid and long term relationship.

I am pretty sure 4:42 is the most beautiful sounding thing I've ever heard in my life. Chills and fighting back tears every time. I honestly did not like Weathering with you the first time I watched it... I thought it was kind of stupid that they destroyed the single largest metropolitan area in the world and its weather for a single girl's life... but that's not the point is it? He found his reason to live, and it was her.

I just realized that the phrase "A hero is willing to sacrifice you for the world but a villain will sacrifice the world for you" depicts how Hodaka said "Who cares if we can't see the sunshine, I want you more than any blue sky!" and he stood as a villain to the world just to see her and keep her alive even while knowing the whole country/world will perish from the never ending rain Edit: Sorry for the misunderstanding but I am only pointing out how Hodaka was careless and refused to care about the flooding, I didn't mean that this was the whole plot of the movie, I just want others to dee my view about he's decision. Future Generation no matter how many years pass you must keep this song alive

I've seen the film in 2019 I believe, yeah before Covid struck. Back then, I was 11 so I couldn't relate that much however now I'm 14 and nearing 15. I have been thinking a lot about my future and my future job as well. So I rewatch this film again, I feel so moved, happy and feel as if I am not alone! Before watching the film, I was depressed, lost and unhappy. After rewatching the film, I feel happy and I am happy that I am happy! I have never been able to relate this well with a character before. I am so happy that I chose to rewatch again!

I still remember the day this was released in India , this was a big thing in India for anime fans sadly I couldn't watch it in theaters . Now 3 years later. I wanted listen to this to revisit some nostalgic memories. Then at night, near about 12 am I listened to this and for a few moments the whole world was at peace. I forgot all the stress and for a few moments I reached what we humans call heaven. After that my day was completed and felt what I hadn't felt since months, thank you. I ll come back here and use this an checkpoint and relieve memories when I ll feel sad

The impact these movies have on us will never be forgotten. ♥️ These masterpieces are going straight to the history 🙂
