If only they had been content with what they got , all this would have never happened. They got a Muslim state for themselves but they just had to attack Kashmir. They thought that every muslim in India belong to Pakistan. I mean come on Jinnah, Kashmir wasn't even part of India that time, they wanted to remain as it is. But no everything and everyone Muslim is theirs, like other muslim have no say in that. The muslim who wanted a islamic state packed there bags and left but why would you force other to join them. Because of all the wars, terror, insurgency Kashmir has become a difficult place to live both for Muslim and Hindus. And what Pakistan does to their POK is just another sad story Had that not happened maybe there would have been peace among us.( I know it's a Wishful thinking..but My grandfather used to work in Lahore and the stories he told were just fascinating I just want once to live in a city where he once used to )

I can't help but see so many similarities with the situation of North and South Korea. In 1971, Pakistan's GDP was greater than many eastern European countries. Bangladesh was a desperately poor country. Pakistan had multiple developed cities like Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi interconnected with solid road network. All but few bridges were all bombed out in Bangladesh. Pakistan, having a massive port, close proximity to Arab countries and not much foreign debt, it was destined to be the commercial hub connecting Asia and Middle East. While In 1971, Bangladesh was a war torn country with one third of Pakistan's GDP and no developed cities. Fast forward 50 years. Bangladesh's economy is booming, the GDP and foreign reserve is twice the size of Pakistan. In every MDG goals like child mortality, women's education, livelyhood index and women empowerment Bangladesh has outperformed Pakistan. While Bangladesh spent their money on education, healthcare and infrastructure, Pakistan spent it on their army. The leesson here is: You can spend your money on either bullet or butter. Chose wisely.

Accept your faults. India accepted the faults and tackled it . Almost a decade ago Pakistanis were mocking India for open defection problem and on toilets and then India accepted the faults and now India almost tackled this issue while in an interview in 2018 . Imran khan said only 42% Pakistanis have access to toilets. .. That's your problem. You never admit it and you never learn any lesson

India hasn't asked for an IMF loan since 1993. India repaid all IMF loans by 2000. India's economy stands on its own. Therefore India can stand up to U.S./West/Other demands by saying we pay for Russia oil. Pakistan is dependent on others.
