This is all not new news, it's been going on since the dark ages, from one westerner, possibly Portugese, French all picking sides for their profiteering, in that context to the British empire and the Anglo Saxon, English narrative. The reason the US is siding with Pak is because India has not been responsive to all the requests to cut it's ties with Russia - it continues to buy Russian weapons and joins Russian War games and refuses to condemn Russia's unjust war against Ukraine. India had it's chance to prove it is a trustworthy ally since February when the war started, but it has shown consistently that it chooses to side with America's enemy instead.

And yeah we asked for resources to better our sectors, space, military etc.but was never appreciated so we turned to our neighbor Russia for them, and they complied. We found them to be a better trade partners than US. But US being US, out of paranoia started hindering our growth in rocket technology and many other proxy interruptions. Believed we allied with Russia to attack the great Americas isn't it. History time and time tested reveals Russia to be a far superior trade partner hence we are more leaned towards Russia. And don't forget about US sending 7th fleet towards India during 1971 war when infact our civil wars had no direct impact or nothing to do with US. They believed in our belligerent foe than a fellow democratic, potential ally in the South East Asia. By 2032, 50% Agniveer in Army, 1.5 lakh recruitments every year: Vice Chief of Army Staff... The number of recruitments will be increased every year under this scheme. This year 40,000 personnel will be included in it. By the seventh and eighth year, its number will reach 1.2 lakh. Whereas in the tenth and eleventh year this number will reach 1.6 lakhs.". Only 25% of the soldiers from each batch of Agniveers will be inducted into the regular cadre for the next 15 years. Whereas the remaining 75% will be removed after four years. Vice Chief of Army Staff has said that by 2030-32, half of the 12 lakh army personnel will be 'Agniveer' through Agnipath scheme.. So, what is going to happen by 2032, is that half of the soldiers in the army will always be temporary soldiers. Indian Army already has 12,37,117 (12 lakh) permanent active personnel today in 2022.. @D I .. Indian Army already has 12,37,117 (12 lakh) permanent active personnel today in 2022.. As, each permanent soldier retires, that vacancy is going to be filled by the temporary Agniveers . By 2030-32, half of the 12 lakh army personnel will be 'Agniveer' through Agnipath scheme.. That is by 2030-32, half of the 12 lakh army personnel will be temporary soldiers. The total number of soldiers is not going to increase above 12 lakh.
