Thank you. We are waiting for the technician to come and fix other issues. I will surely give you a call as we have the same system that you showed. It is however running very noisily. We have 2 batteries and 6 panels.

If your SNA 5000 serial no start with 228 and above, then use a straight comms cable between batt and inverter. Dip 1 is on

Hi Anthony, question, is it not inverter 3,4 -> 5,4 battery. Also why does the settings show 50AH, is it not supposed to show the capacity of the battery?

Hi there yes correct 3and 4 4snd 5 on the older Lux power the new stock has a sticker on the box that says straight cable as to the amp hour you have to tell the inverter what size battery it is if the function is disabled then it could be the battery manufacturers call to answer that one

@@anthonymwambazi7390 Hi Anthony - thanks for the video, however it causes some confusion - You mention 3&4 to 4&5 and as Bradz also mentioned should rather be 3&4 to 5&4, pin 3 on the battery goes to pin 5 on the inverter. Maybe add some text over the video that clarifies it. You also mention the protocol is 3&4 on the battery and 5&6 on the inverter???

@@fanieduplessis2445 apologies to that will make a correction on it, with the older Lux power it was 3and 4 on the inverter side and 4 and 5 on the battery side now with the new stock in the country that comes with a notification on the box it's a straight cable you can buy from any computer shop

Hie sir, I have Greenwich up3648 in combination with five-star 5000 and canadian panels 400v panels x2 but problem is once the battery greenlights are full its beeps fault continuously until we switch it off. What could be the problem . I suspect that the two don't communicate as there is no communication cable between. How can it be corrected? Response will be appreciated.

Do you know if the Ultra Energy Batteries is compatible with the luxpower inverters?

No the ultra only has a bms for managing the cells charging and discharge parameters it does not have a communication protocol for the inverters would be glad if someone can make program for them to communicate I like those batteries as well

@@anthonymwambazi7390 I did manage to get it to communicate somewhat with the inverter, but it only showed 2.9v on the inverter. So was almost there, but not close enough

My communication cable has all the pins. (There is no 3&4 or 4&5). Will that be a problem?.

On the older Lux power you have to make the cable yourself or have it made at a computer shop, with the New version that's in the country now it's labeled on the box with a sticker use a straight like the one you have it will work all the best

Hi there it's not charging fully or faulty battery which I highly doubt.let me know how your battery settings are as well.

The inverter will only topup the battery to what has been configured - my installer for example limited it to 80% of the installed capacity of the battery rather than filling it up to 100%.
