The majority of newer dlcs have their own set value of downforce. Not all of them have it, but it's neat. Also, spoilers in game do in fact increase traction by a fair margin.

The stunt cars have downforce (RE7B > Tyrus > ETR1) also some new ones, like the Vagner and S80RR (and the soon to be released open wheelers). I think that is all, but correct me if I'm wrong. I missed 2 years between 17 Feb and 19 Oct, so the cars in that period are not that well known to me.

@@Inferiis There are some others, comet retro and some others from other dlcs have the downforce value. But it's pretty rare to see now I newer dlcs.

In all technicality you are using net momentum to create two opposing forces, one on the car and one on the air, the result is turning some of the forward momentum of the car into upward moving air and downward pressed car. Its essentially conservation of momentum, or newtons 3rd law however you'd best like to think of it.
